Add tab for collection notes under Customers
I need functionality for collection notes like there is in desktop. A different tab and ability to enter notes with an automatic date stamp. The notes options in QB Online are completely insufficient and clutter up the main customer view!

Need ablility to turn off "automatic calculation" of sales tax in QBO. This is an
QBO needs to allow for 3 decimal points on tax rates for imported invoices and /or the ability to turn off "Automatic calculation" for sales tax. When importing from Connectwise the iif export file is correct, but upon import, QBO overrides the custom tax rate set for the client in both systems and goes to Automatic Calculation, and rounds the tax rate up. The rate should be 5.185 and on import it makes it 5.19

Estimates/Proposals
Allow or create a template that allows users to create a proposal that explains the "scope of services" to be provided. My clients expect professional proposals, not estimates and I need to provide a description of the project, work to be provided/performed, schedule, and methods. The estimates templates do not work for professional services firms (engineering, consulting, etc.) See example attached

Customise purchase order template
We need to customise our purchase order template similar to how we were able to customise our invoice template with a .docx file. It's an important feature to offer business to keep their branding consistent across all our templates. I use Xero for my other business and it's extremely easy to customise the templates for all accounting documents so I am disappointed to find out that it's not available through Quickbooks and looks to have been requested some years ago now with no update on when this will be available?

Recurring invoice to include automatically advancing service date
It is hard to effectively use recurring invoicing when the service date isn't auto-created. There should be a way to have the service date advance in the same way the invoice date can advance.

Track the status of my Merchant Service deposit in the Mobile App

Flat Rate
AS of today, when I go to create and Invoice or Estimate, after selecting the correct "Product or service" option from that dropdown, I always go next to "Unit" and select between three options of "Units", "Hours" or "Flat Rate". When I started making Invoices today, the "Flat Rate" option all of a sudden has vanished and I am only able to choose from "Units" or "Hours" which will not be acceptable for Flat Rated items. The current invoice format wouldn't be accepted by payment processing by our primary corporate partner and that is a massive issue for my company.

QBO Slow to Respond - Site Lags
Good Afternoon,
I'm here to complain about the lagging and time it takes to do simple tasks in QBO. My billing process takes a lot longer than it should because of the lag I experience when trying to create an invoice. My monthly subscription cost keeps going up, but this site keeps slowing down. I've visited other sites just to make sure it's not my computer or internet connection, and everything else seems to work fine except QBO.

Estimate Report that Provides Progress Billing Unbilled amounts per Client/Job
Provide a report that summarizes open Estimates per Client/Job for the billed to-date and unbilled dollar amounts.

Project # to auto populate in ascending order as new projects are created
There needs to be a way that a project # is auto assigned to a project when it is created just like it does for an estimate or Invoice. The numbers would ascend as new projects are created.

Stop the constant ads on QBO
I have just signed up for qb and payroll and I had desktop 2017.
The ads I discovered on up top and I have to scroll down to see the things I am looking for. It is hard enough to figure out how to use your product and the ads just make it harder.
i see others have asked about this in the past and I assume you will continue to do it, but I really don't like it and I may just start looking somewhere else before I get to far into this.6 votes -

Accepting Estimations & having a Quotation option
Why does QB not have automatic acceptance of estimations, so that the client can accept the price? this way the business would not have to chase clients to see if they accept the price. In addition, why is there only a option to give estimations and not quotes, as in the UK these are different.
Estimations can differ in price
Quotations are a largely binding price between company and client.
Clients prefer Quotes so they know what they will pay

otherwise, we will have data violation and company is subject to huge risks of its data that any user can delete and void their transactions
and access their information. We do not want to share profit and gain information with all users as example and all accounts. Only for the Account manager.
