Add tab for collection notes under Customers
I need functionality for collection notes like there is in desktop. A different tab and ability to enter notes with an automatic date stamp. The notes options in QB Online are completely insufficient and clutter up the main customer view!

Renaming "Customers" to "Suppliers"
I would like to be able to rename "Customers" to "Suppliers." We are a travel agency, so we don't have customers paying us. We have suppliers (i.e. hotels and other partners) that pay us commission based on the bookings we make for our clients (travelers). Those suppliers are who we create invoices for.

Side bar scaling to show all text
Side bar when searching for customers doesn't show full text. Need to either text wrap names or make the side bar expandable
Jayvee from intuit chat told me this is the QBO desktop browser feedback channel. I don't know if that's true considering how much "mobile app" I'm seeing here. I told him that the green text above me says "How can we improve QuickBooks Mobile on iOS and Android?" and he told me to ignore it. Looks like a broken link sent me here

Export Customer List With Balance Information
QuickBooks Desktop allowed users to export the customer list with balance information and addresses for each customer. QuickBooks online does not include balance information and addresses in the same exportable files. Please provide backwards compatibility between the 2 versions and allow balance and addresses to be exported in a single file.

Freeze the Add New button at the top of all lists!!!
Please add the Add New button at the top of all lists so that we don't have to scroll to the top every time to start over.
Even better, allow creation of new accounts/categories on the fly throughout all transactions!

Hi,
Regarding your new view when viewing a customer and transaction list. Firstly, if I want to see open invoices, I now need to chose from two dropdown boxes instead of one. It was better before. Also, why are all dates always set to 365 days automatically. I will ALWAYS want to see everything that is owing - that applies to sales and purchases - this filter just creates incorrect data as it is easily overlooked.

Disable the box "Same as Billing Address" in the Shipping Address by default
Disable the box "Same as Billing Address" in the Shipping Address by default.
Many businesses similar to my own has most of the transactions occur at the point of sales (ie: my physical retail store). Having the Shipping Address automatically populated "Same as Billing Address" affects the sales tax rate. I'd like to request to have the shipping address blank by default. If other businesses involve with shipping, they can simply just check the "same as billing address" box. Whereas for me, it requires me to uncheck the box and having to manually delete the pre-populated fields (lots more steps!!!)…1 vote -

Seems archaic that one can't import an excel sheet to update customer details. One can only import new customers but not update existing customers.

Setting price Discount rate for customer
Hi,
I have used Quickbooks desktop previously and it has the function to set discount rate for customer. I would like to request this function to be available for Quickbooks online. The function allowed us to create estimate with the set discount rate for customer. It save us time and all our staff can just select the customer to provide the estimate. Keep Location Names Visible in Vendor Hub
In the vendor area, when the account category is posted to only one account the Location name is visible as ' Oak Lawn' or 'Elmhurst' in the vendor. However, whenever I have more than one account category entered for that particular vendor, the location name turns into 'Split' in the vendor hub even though I never split the account to multiple location. Could you please keep the Location visible despite the number of account category used in the detail so it can be more useful to us.

Customers - Technological Glitch
I am having a technological glitch happen when I scroll through customers. Once I am in a customer, the sidebar with all customers goes blank instead of populating alphabetically as it normally would. Once I finally get it to populate, it jumps to the top of the alphabet instead of showing the customer I am working in.
I'm on a Mac and using Google Chrome. Has anyone else had this issue? It has thrown a wrench in my workflow. Thanks for the help!

Would be helpful if you export templates matched your import templates i.e customer notes. Transferring a client form an existing subscription to a new one should be seemless, but unfortunately as your import and export templates do not match it is troublesome having to manually enter some info onto the new system.

Improve Customer Information and Organization
Enhance the organization of customer information (add more first name, last name, email fields)
I love Quickbooks, but one of the negatives are we have multiple contacts for our customers and are unable to organize our contact list. To better organize our contacts (and to potentially use the email functionality) I would like to see more name fields so we can put the first and last name of the other email addresses. Currently we are able to put 1 first and last name and 2 or 3 email address but no way organize the names with the emails addresses.

Add US Virgin Islands as an available address
Please add the US Virgin Islands as an available option for employee and vendor address. I am not asking for payroll assistance, just the ability to correctly enter an address for someone in the USVI.

Customer verbatim: Limit increase request, Description : Customer needs to print EOM statements and seh has 500 customer accounts and needs all 500 printed all together at once not 50 or 100 at a time, She says that this is not acceptable as this is a lot of work and if the limit be increased to 500 and up, it will make her work easier as its a really busy store. For QuickBooks Online on web (not Mobile): Extra Email Fields for Vendors and Customers
Please have the option of multiple email address fields in the Vendor info screen, so we can input different departments for Vendors, based on routing need. i.e. an email address they provide for accounts receivable to send remittance notices to, is different than an email we need to send purchase orders to. Currently there is only 1 field we can input an email address into, and we can't logistically change it back and forth based on what we need QBO to send out; transaction volume it too high to sanely do that.
