1. Add a PPrice Column in the estimate/invoice that only the business owner can see

   I just moved over from using the QuickBooks 2014. Much to my surprise I have been using a feature that is critial to my business that you don't have in your cloud version. I have been using a PPrice (Purchased Price) column on my estimates and invoices that helps me determine what I will change the customer per item. As a Master Gardener I purchase plants from many nurserys and list my cost in that column. The PPrice Column disappears when I print or send the invoice/estimate to the client or vendor. I have been relying on the feature so that I can track my cost effectively. It was a feature I leaned on all of the time and I'm lost without it. It would be nice if you are going to program it and it also could give me at the end of the column a total PPrice so that in a glance I can know exactly what my profit would be for each client. I'm now paying a monthly rate for the use of a tool that right now is not meeting my business needs. I would be happy to talk with someone or share my screen on what the old system was providing me that this currently can't provide. This is a very urgent need of mine and would be grateful if someone would follow up with me and let me know if this feature can be added in as soon a possible.

2. Code payments to a Class

   Balance Sheet report by class will not balance because payments do not come out of the Asset checking account by class. It would be great if payments could assign the Class from the expense being paid and lower the class checking account. Balance sheet reports that have a checking account in the Asset will never balance.

5. Need to be able to change "Amount Type" after initially creating new product.

   I decided to finally rip of the band-aid, so to speak, and start using the new invoicing format. I'm frustrated with a lot of the changes and find it generally very cluttered, but the biggest problem that I'm having has to do with the "amount type" selection when making a new product within an invoice. This option seems to be available ONLY when making a new product from within an invoice and not when making a new item from the products page. There is an option for "amount type" that allows you to chose either flat rate, unit, or hours. I made the mistake of overlooking this option when as I was creating some of my items and accidentally left them on "flat rate" rather than choosing "unit". I only sell physical products, so I really need my invoices to list the quantity and unit price of each item, but because I accidentally chose "flat rate", it only shows the total sum for those items. I cannot find a way to edit this "amount type" anywhere or make any other changes within QB so that the quantity and unit price appear on my invoice. This is so frustrating and poses a major problem for my buyers. Most buyers send purchase orders, so they need to check that the quantity and unit price match their PO. I don't want to delete the items or duplicate them because we already have a dense product catalog and want our sales reports to be as clean as possible. I just need to edit that amount type!

   Bring back the option to import your own template on Form Style, we need to have different invoice depending of the bank account we send to the guests, plus information in the invoice, and on the invoice of QB only allow 400characters, wich are not enough for the bank details and payment details.

9. Tags per line item/journal entry

   Tags have become a critical way for us to do proper budgeting for our non-profits transactions and to give our operational divisions a way to know what they've spent without cluttering up our chart of accounts for when we pass our finances off to our accountant for taxes. The fact that we can't

   1) add tags to journal entries and
   2) add tags to individual line items in split transactions/journal entries

   is a huge problem for us and means that we either have to go back to having a chart of accounts that is a mess, or we have to spend a lot of time recreating the data that already exists in QBO in a spreadsheet. Both of these features would save our accounting team a lot of time, and given that all of our staff are volunteers with full time jobs outside of the organization, time is at a premium.

10. Add a Project Name field to Estimate & Ability to enter mark-up % or $

    Two great additions to Estimates would be to have a fileld labeled "Project" so it can be tracked and separated from the customer's name if desired.

    As a general contractor we want to send an estimate to the customer's nmae, but we name our projects based on the street name address. Our work-around for this has been to enter the Customer as street name: MILTON 1377
    The problem is we do not want the estimate to be addressed to MILTON 1377 instead of Jane Doe.

    Second item, I have seen lots of requests going back as far as 2018 (farther back I am sure) is add the ability to incllude a Mark-up as either a % or $ that would then calculate the Cost + MU = Retail

    Example:
    Description QTY Cost MU Type MU Value Retail
    Demo 1 $1,000.00 25% $250.00 $1,250.00

    The Mark-up Type and Value should not display on the customer's copy of the Estimate (ie: when it is printed out)

11. Adding Location per line item to bills/expenses/checks

    We have multiple locations and frequently have bills, credit card expenses, checks, etc. that are split between GLs, Locations and Classes. Having the ability to apply location to each line item to each bill, expense or check would save our accounting team so much time and effort. Currently our accounting team has to go in and create a Journal Entry for each bill or expense that has split locations. Being able to make this feature available with any other type of expense transaction with create better financial records and efficiencies with our team.

12. Need Ability to Create 2 Late Fee Streams

    Need the ability to create 2 separate late fee items. My client has a late fee policy for tenants of $50 after a 5 day grace period AND $5/day. Should be a very easy update. Most platforms I've used already have this option.

13. Better Communication

    We've been asking for an update on an investigation number since Friday 7/14/23. The only update we have received is "they are working on it" It has been well over a week. Our whole accounting system is down. The previous tech in the chat tried to help. Today Din would not and refused to connect me with someone from the department handling our case. Stated they could not. But the customer service reps on 7/17 & 7/19 could not. All I received was this link to post in. We have been beyond patient with the issue we are having. It's coming up on month end & a payroll week. We have been a customer for many years, and all we are asking for is update on the issue at hand and estimated date when our accounting will be back up and running.

    looking or a way to have a report of all journal entires emailed to me on a daily basis. within standard report, there is an accountant option for JOURANAL reports, but you can not schedule that report to be emailed on a regular basis. thanks.

19. Add search feature for Attachments List

    I like to upload attachments separately for various transactions that do not currently allow attachments, such as tax payments or payroll changes. While it would be great to allow for attachments to be added directly to these transactions, it would also be nice to search for attachments within the list. The only currently available options to find something that was uploaded is to sort by the file name, upload date, or another field that's displayed.
