RETURN THE EMAIL SENT AND VIEWED INFO AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH INVOICE!!!
When I am reviewing the AR report it is ESSENTIAL that I see when the invoice was sent and viewed!!! Once in a while the techs will forget to send them and it is IMPERATIVE that I know if the customer has received the invoice and viewed it... sometimes the CUSTOMER may forget to make the payment and the email messages I send reflect all of that!!! Issue with new layout
New updated layout is causing issue for my teams to create invoice. . Especially on the access of other users aside from admin access. This is bummer . this prevents us to do our work. Appreciate if you find solution for this asap or revert back to old version until you find solution for this .Thanks for taking care of it urgently.

Service Categories on New Invoice Layout
The new invoice layout doesn't show the service item category. Our entire billing system is setup to break the services down by category and have different billable rates depending on the category. Without being able to see that, the new layout is useless.

Need more customization options for new invoice format
I've seen several forum posts about issues with invoice formatting, some aesthetic and some more function based. So I'd say overall, there just needs to be a better way for each company to build it's own invoice format.
For us, we wish that there were more design options, and we really wish that we could remove the "Ways to pay" graphic with the credit card icons. For us it feels unprofessional and gimmicky. The default email message also felt super gimmicky. Using a subject line with the phrase "new payment request from ___" makes is sound like a phishing scam.

Report for outstanding invoices that have not been viewed
I would like to be able to create a custom report that will show outstanding invoices that have not been viewed by the customer. This would be a less time consuming way to check customer contact info to be sure the correct email is associated with the customer account rather than clicking through every outstanding invoice to see if it's been viewed or not.

Add a feature allowing for Dynamic Messages on Recurring Invoices
When sending recurring invoices for "month ahead" services, it would make this recurring process even more worthwhile and effective if the invoice message could be made to update with a date appropriate message that changes each month to give the month the services are being billed for:
If it's issued on Feb 1 for services in March 2024, it would say "March 2024" in Feb, and then April 2024 on the March invoice and so on.4 votes -

Date related merge codes in invoices, receipts, transactions, etc
Allow for a set of merge codes to be used in invoices, transactions, & receipts.
Some basic mergecodes would be around date. This would allow us to put billion periods in line items.
For example if an invoice is sending in May, but will be for June services can use a merge code like %%NEXTMONTH%% or %%MONTH+1%% to insert the month of June.
Merge codes that may be valuable include:
- Date (various formats)
- Month

Custom invoice numbers should be able to add letters
Let me add letters to custom invoice number on the mobile app again! I use first initial of the technician completing the service to identify invoices. Now with new layout you cant add letters on mobile device.

Make the product/service description searchable again!!
I can't search the description keyword anymore to find a product/service when creating an invoice with the new layout! The description doesn't even show up when you search a p/s anymore. My p/s names are named by the part number. For example a 10lb ABC fire extinguisher is 120 and the description was 10lb abc fire extinguisher. If i searched abc, it would pop up but now i can only search 120 to find it. Go back to the old invoice style! My technicians invoice in the field and can't memorize over 1,500 part numbers! Enable the ability to import Invoice Templates. Just switched from QuickBooks Desktop and the template edit options are junk. Can't even edit the column width.

Allow invoice import with sales taxes enabled
I would really like to use the invoice import feature but am unable to turn off sales tax ( related to https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/forums/920245-quickbooks-mobile-feedback-forum/suggestions/44869786-ability-to-turn-off-sales-tax-in-qbo )
Please make this feature a priority, as it will save me hours every week.

New invoice format isn't working!!! Customization not working at all.
I can't add items to bundles via drag and drop like I used to. The customer messages at the bottom are saved in my custom form settings but don't show up in the actual invoices. The payment terms section is also blank even though I have saved them in the settings as well.
This new modern format is a disaster and no amount of trying to fix it on my end is working. This has added 5x the amount of time and effort I have to put into ALL invoices that I need to send. UNACCEPTABLE QUICKBOOKS!3 votes -
Bring over attachments when adding billable expenses to an invoice.
The old invoicing format brought over any attachments on billable expenses when they were added to invoices. Apparently that functionality was removed with the new invoice format. Please bring back the old invoice format until this functionality can be added to the new invoice format. This is critical functionality that many, many users need immediately.

Bring back auto-populating images of receipts tied to expenses to email with invoice. QB ONLINE DESKTOP
Images or PDF's of receipts tied to expenses used to auto-populate at the bottom of the invoice with the option to add them to the email when sent to the customer. This option no longer exists since the update, and I have to go through my files and images to back up the expenses manually, one by one. Custom Email Template
I would like to have the ability to create a custom email template. Under the "Custom Form Styles" I should be able to create a custom template for emailing invoices to customers.
This would allow me to use my branding and provide my customers a more personal touch. I don't like the big box in the middle of the email with the Quickbooks branding.
It doesn't add any value to me to advertise my accounting system to my customers. I would like to promote my own business.
