Autofill Project Name
Using custom fields when creating an invoice, allow "Project Name" to auto populate project name on the invoice. Having to manually enter it is just another opportunity for mistakes. When the customer has multiple projects under them (see attached), invoicing is done on a project basis, not a client basis. Yet you have to manually enter the project name every time creating the invoice. (see 2nd attached)

Invoice and Sales Receipt Number
Under the current setting, we can only enable or disable the number feature. Once it's on, QB will automatically assign a number for the invoice and sales receipt. In most situation, we have different number sequence for invoice and sales receipt. We would like to have an option to leave the number field blank and manually add one when we need instead of auto assigning an number by the system.

Add ability to edit packing slip and add a column for backordered items for QuickBooks Online
Currently there is no way to add a fillable column to an invoice outside of the few default options. Additionally there is no way to customize the packing slip and make note of items that are currently out of stock. This makes it very difficult to communicate to customers what they are actually receiving in a shipment to hand write notes on the packing slip. This makes the packing slip look very unprofessional and makes tracking items that need to still be shipped nearly impossible without creating a manual system.

Can we have an option to customize the Dashboard view according to Sales Classification
Can we have the option to customize Dashboard view. for We have 3 types of Sales ( Testing,Registration& Academics) .We should have a view of Sales in 3 parts and not in a consolidated mode . similar to Cost of Sales view as well

Custom invoice numbers should be able to add letters
Let me add letters to custom invoice number on the mobile app again! I use first initial of the technician completing the service to identify invoices. Now with new layout you cant add letters on mobile device.

Make the product/service description searchable again!!
I can't search the description keyword anymore to find a product/service when creating an invoice with the new layout! The description doesn't even show up when you search a p/s anymore. My p/s names are named by the part number. For example a 10lb ABC fire extinguisher is 120 and the description was 10lb abc fire extinguisher. If i searched abc, it would pop up but now i can only search 120 to find it. Go back to the old invoice style! My technicians invoice in the field and can't memorize over 1,500 part numbers! Allow invoice import with sales taxes enabled
I would really like to use the invoice import feature but am unable to turn off sales tax ( related to https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/forums/920245-quickbooks-mobile-feedback-forum/suggestions/44869786-ability-to-turn-off-sales-tax-in-qbo )
Please make this feature a priority, as it will save me hours every week.

ADVANCED SEARCH
Before the recent update Advanced Search had options to search memo/description by limiting to "Equals" or "Includes", this feature helped to narrow down a list of invoices that had the same EXACT memo, rather than similar ones. Please add this "Equals" option back

Allow signature capture on custom invoice templates
Currently users are able to capture a digital signature on invoices using the mobile app. However this feature is only available using the default invoice style and template.
Upgrading the software to allow for this same feature using custom invoice templates allows users to track receipt of product or services while also keeping a strong brand image with invoicing.2 votes -
Features from QuickBooks Accountant Desktop that need to be added to QuickBooks Online
The batch invoicing tool in QuickBooks Online is very limited relative to the batch invoicing tool In QuickBooks Accountant Desktop. I should be able to enter more than 30 invoices at once, copy down a field from the top cell in a column to all of the cells in the column beneath it which have invoice numbers assigned, and paste in multiple cells worth of data at once. Be able to add extra columns to the calculating part of the invoice
I Have a rental business. I need additional columns/multipliers for the invoices as follows:
1) Hire rate (a)
2) Quantity (b)
3) Time (weeks/days hired) (c)
4) Hire total (abc)
5) GST on total for item 4
6) Security deposit amount per item (e)
7) total security deposit for the quantity of items (e*b)Then I need a subtotal for no 4 , 5 and 7
