3. service rate cannot be negative

   I prefer to give my discounts as line items as I only discount my services not parts. QBO allows the service rate to be -0.15 (for 15% discount) but in the app i cannot set a negative rate.

4. Estimate and invoice custom templates should have same fields and columns.

   Estimate and invoice custom templates should be identical in the QuickBooks Online Account so that when an estimate is confirmed. This is to save time and error in recreating the invoice which is same as the estimate.

5. I own a service business. Why did work orders feature get left out when When you switch to the online version. QB won’t fix so I am leaving.

   I am one of I’m sure thousands of service businesses that is using Quickbooks. I have been using QuickBooks for 18 years for my small business unfortunately I made the switch from Desktop to Online in 2021, big mistake. Quickbooks left out the work order feature in the online version and if I would have known that I would have never switched. Service businesses use work orders to assign work to their work crews working in the field so that their crews will have the scope of work, job site location and the customer contact information on the work order to do their assigned work from. It has been a complete nightmare trying to verbally communicate this information to my field work crews since 2021. it doesn’t exist in the online version. I have been complaining about this since I switched in 2021 and Quickbooks will not make the fix. The correct order is as follows, create an estimate then email to customer, customer views the estimate then approves the estimate, then the status of the estimate changes to approved, Then the work needs to take place and the estimate needs to be converted to a works order to be issued to the work crews to perform the work, after the work is complete then the work order/ estimate gets converted to an invoice and emailed to the customer for payment. I hope this is clear and detailed enough. This is my last effort to get QB the make the fix. I have had enough so I’m looking to go elsewhere .

8. Allow profit & loss report access to project manager users

   There should be a user permission that allows project managers to access profit & loss reports for a particular project or customer so they can see project performance, eg total spent for each cost category and position against the budget. This permission should also allow access to vendor information and billing so this user can update/add vendors and process billing.

9. Estimate CTA Display Botton

   The same message is displayed three times in three different ways:

   1. Preview before sending the estimate: "Print and Save" button.
   2. Preview in email from the client's view: "Review and Pay" button.
   3. View from QuickBooks page: button "Accept or Decline".

   I've spoken today with Ringo from the Quickbooks help desk and he told me to raise a suggestion here.

   I think that the bottom should be the same message every time the client gets confused (it happen to my clients)

11. Can we opt out of the Apply to Accept Online Payments screen after every. single. invoice?

    At this point, my company is not interested in accepting online payments. However, after I send every single invoice, the pop-up window telling me to "apply to accept online payments" shows up. Every time. Currently, there's no way to decline this and it's annoying and inefficient. Can we get a remind me later button so we don't get asked this after every invoice is issued?

This extra field titled “CLASS” is a very useful data field because Quickbooks already tracks CLASSES. Right now, the work around is to manually EDIT every single imported product and manually type in the CLASS. This is extremely time-consuming when we have hundreds of imported products. 14. Contractors - be able to RE-email them to fill in Bank Account Info

    Once you send an email to a contractor to fill out a W9 / Bank Info - there is no option to send a follow up email or reminder. This is horrible because sometimes they claim they can't find the email, or its month's later and they only filled out the W9 and still need to fill in the bank info. There's no way to prompt the email to be sent, only add manually. On the screen screenshot here, another button should be added to re-email them to add their bank info.

15. Simplify the Invoice Creation Screen

    Your "new" UI for creation of invoices reminds me of when Microsoft launched Word 6.0 in 1993. All the options and pull-downs serve no point and make it harder to work, not simpler.

16. Class data for payroll in basic functionality that does not work

    It's essential for many entities to have Class info associated with payroll expenses! Why does QB Time even have a Class field if that data does not flow into QBO?!

    It's basic functionality that existed in Desktop. It's a no-brainer. The class field in QB Time is completely pointless and useless if that expense data doesn't get created in QBO, which it doesn't. It's not complicated to fix this... the Class data associated with the hour entries ALREADY goes into QBO, so why doesn't the payroll expense data get classified with those classes?!

    There is a setting in QBO set each staff to ONE class only, over-riding any Class data imported. That is so stupid, it's beyond understanding. The point of Classes is to classify stuff... not to be unable to classify stuff.

    This needs to be fixed ASAP.

17. Inventory Bin Location Field

    We had an item custom field set up in desktop to identify the bin location of each item. Online does not allow for custom item fields nor has a location field. This is critical in maintaining inventory. Please build this feature into the Online version.

    The Estimate function would be much easier to use if it supported an Excel import feature just like Invoices. I need to enter several hundred estimate line items for my project and use progress billing. Please create an import interface!

19. Make the product/service description searchable again!!

    I can't search the description keyword anymore to find a product/service when creating an invoice with the new layout! The description doesn't even show up when you search a p/s anymore. My p/s names are named by the part number. For example a 10lb ABC fire extinguisher is 120 and the description was 10lb abc fire extinguisher. If i searched abc, it would pop up but now i can only search 120 to find it. Go back to the old invoice style! My technicians invoice in the field and can't memorize over 1,500 part numbers! ALSO, on the mobile app, when editing the custom invoice # you can no longer add letters only numbers??? WTF? I name my invoices after which technician is completing the service.

20. Allow invoice import with sales taxes enabled

    I would really like to use the invoice import feature but am unable to turn off sales tax ( related to https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/forums/920245-quickbooks-mobile-feedback-forum/suggestions/44869786-ability-to-turn-off-sales-tax-in-qbo )

    Please make this feature a priority, as it will save me hours every week.
