Rule names
When making a new rule, it has to be named. Fine.
But when QB refers to a rule when offering help, suggestions or error messages, QB identifies which rule they are referring to by the first category visible in the description of the rule.
For example: I have several rules with line item "ATM......" so I have named the rules clearly to avoid mis-postings, but when there is a problem, I have to search all the rules to find which rule they are referring to. Time wasted. If you insist on a name for the …1 vote -

Ability to turn off sales tax in QBO
There is a button in the Sales Tax tool, under settings, "Turn Off Sales Tax." But you cannot use it. No matter what you do in QBO, delete all invoices with sales tax, all entries to the Sales tax liability account, make all Product/Service items non-taxable, it still will not let you turn off sales tax. This is necessary because QBO is blocking OneSaas from completing the invoice migration from FreshBooks to QBO. SF Case #1577629820

Option to turn off additional Intuit service offers
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue.
I find it incredibly frustrating that there is no way to permanently turn off banners/popups/offers for Intuit's upselling features and services. In the preferences area, there are ways to turn off marketing emails. But still...every time I log in to QBO, I am bombarded with payroll services and more.
As I am already paying a monthly subscription fee, I find it insulting that it isn't enough for you and you want to take more of your users' money.

2 step verification - TURN OFF OPTION NEEDED
The inability to turn off 2 step verification is absolutely a fail. One code sent EVERY SINGLE time we log on. If I'm not available then my bookkeeper can't work.. Where is the logic in this...?!?!?!

Turn off shipping from automatically
I provide a service and I do not ship any products and it automatically fills the ships from on my business location and not the customers location and it fills the wrong taxes for the job. this is a complete hassle for me and my CPA. Need ablility to turn off "automatic calculation" of sales tax in QBO. This is an
QBO needs to allow for 3 decimal points on tax rates for imported invoices and /or the ability to turn off "Automatic calculation" for sales tax. When importing from Connectwise the iif export file is correct, but upon import, QBO overrides the custom tax rate set for the client in both systems and goes to Automatic Calculation, and rounds the tax rate up. The rate should be 5.185 and on import it makes it 5.19

Bring back my ability to import custom form styles for invoices
My business depends on the ability to upload a custom invoice style in order to comply with the legal requirements of my state. Why did you remove this feature? It worked just fine. Quickbooks invoice templates simply cannot do what we need. Your customer service rep suggested that we upgrade to QB Advanced for $180/month. You must be out of your minds! We are currently searching for a new accounting software.

Estimate Expiration Date
We would like to have the ability to turn on a feature that automatically puts an expiration date in an estimate. An example would be that we want all estimates to expire 7 days after entry date.

Bonus Payroll - Provide checkboxes to turn off employee notifications and to print checks instead of Direct Deposit
Bonus payrolls need to be able to print checks instead of process as direct deposit and block employee email notifications. These should both be check boxes or options when processing Bonus Only payrolls.

Allow invoice import with sales taxes enabled

allow bank rules to migrate over from desktop to online
I just moved my 6 year old QB Desktop to QB Online. I had 476 bank rules set up in QB Desktop. After migration I have ZERO rules set up in QB Online. There HAS to be someway to integrate this during migration.

Ability to Send Sales Forms from own Email Address (Available on Web for Gmail users)
Why hasn't this already been done and why has this not received more votes?? This should be an absolute STANDARD 'feature'. I could do it with my other cloud software and now we are regretting the change.
Ridiculous. A VERY simple SMTP addition and this could all be solved. I do NOT want to pay for third party services such as Zapier etc to do this.
Then there is someone answering these queries on the support site with 'of course you can send the emails through your own system, just download and save as a pdf and then attach it…

Ability to change navigation bar links
Need ability to change the options/links in the navigation bar.
Some of the links are of no use, and the ability to turn off some links and add other links for options such as creating a new customer, or estimate etc would be very beneficial.2 votes
