1. Why does the sales tax rate not appear when you print an invoice?

   When you print an invoice, the sales tax rate doesn't appear so you have to manually write it. It does not appear when you email it or download it either.

3. Expense Claims

   1. When adding details to the receipt the employee can request reimbursement. But then I have to touch every transaction to code it to the vendor associated to the user. Is there a way to link the two?

   2. Same question for credit cards - if the employee does not request reimbursement I have to code to the associated credit card account.

   3. Split transactions - it appears only one category can be associated to an expense. That would mean the employee would enter two transactions for the same expense (an example is sales tax).

   4. Categories. Is (or will there) be a way to group categories? We have several distinctly different groups of staff that will use different sets of categories.

   5. Information defaults. There does not appear to be a way to default information (rules) or even pull in the terms for a selected vendor (when coding in QBO).

   6. When matching an expense claim to a bank (credit card) transaction, the cc transaction first has to be coded and added to the register - which is the other way around from what we are looking for... and it seems that no matter what is entered on the expense claim, the bank transaction supersedes coding, notes, etc.

4. Automatic Locations on payroll checks and Liabilities

   On payroll checks and Liability it does not automatically populate the LOCATION of the employee even though they are tagged to the location. seems like that would be easy to add to the location set up area for the employee - It is HORRIBLE having multiple locations to go in and manually do it to be able to create correct financials for Locations!

5. How to stop forced banking error "Please choose a credit card to pay"

   Received error "Please choose a credit card to pay" during posting from the bank feed. This is an owner’s draw paying the owner’s personal credit card and not a payment to a company credit card. This error does not allow us to categorize to the correct COA and remains in the transactions unposted.

7. Blacklist certain customers from auto invoice reminders

   Please allow us to blacklist certain customers so that they don't receive automatic invoice renewals. Not all of our customers appreciate the automatic renewals, especially when there are substantial completion holdbacks.

9. Allow View Register Action for All Chart of Accounts

   I come from a background of using QB Desktop for many years and began using QBO in 2023. I am frustrated at not being able to view the register for many of my accounts. On the Chart of Accounts page, the View Register action is not available for those accounts. I can't see a pattern as to which accounts can be viewed and which cannot. Income and expense account types perhaps? It seems as though Intuit product managers have gone too far in dumbing down QBO. What good reason could there be for that limitation? 10. Allow users to update Tax rate even if below .13%

    When attempting to update my annual State Employment tax rate, the system would not allow me to enter a rate below .13%, however my Virginia rate for 2024 was .1%. I had to contact support to get them to enter the rate. While they did this for me, this took way too much time for something I should have been able to do on my own. Please consider removing or modifying the tax rate range edit.

    There is no detail information when you link your US Bank Account through Singlepoint. It only shows like ACH Debit, Check Paid etc.

12. Ability to convert or reclass an expense to a bill

    Ability to convert an expense to a bill and vice versa. My accouning clerk entered a series of vendor invoices as expenses instead of bills. Now when I'm trying to reconcile the bank statement, the payments are not aligning because the expense are showing up as individual payments instead of the way they were actually paid was in a group ACH.

13. Custom email address and domain for invoices

    We should be able to use a custom email address on our own domain to send invoices from QBO.

    It's wild that this isn't already a feature. Invoices from noreply@intuit.com are often caught in spam filters. It's simply embarrassing for clients to see the intuit.com address, and for them not to be able to reply.

    Invoicing is a part of customer service. A custom email address along with a custom email template should be the absolute minimum.

    Xero, Zoho, and most other cloud apps can do this.

    If you're concerned about SPF, DKIM, etc., write up a help doc and put the responsibility on the customer.

15. Fix the invoices input in app

    On the mobile app, Samsung note, the quickbooks online app had an update. Prior to the update, invoices were able to have numbers and letters which was very helpful. I submit invoices to a home builder that likes to have the invoices as the home addresses. Under the new update, only numbers are able to be inserted. Please fix this. On the desktop site it's still operational, but I need to do invoices on the go.

16. Allow transaction field "description" to be displayed.

    Allow the transaction field "description" to be displayed in reports. Right now, only the "Memo" field is included as a similar choice. Most users will input info in the line field "description" rather than scroll to the little box for Memo at the bottom. This saves them lots of time, and so for me would be more of a useable source for customized reports. I ran into this specifically while customizing a report of bills by selected vendors.

17. Budget Excels download & upload by class features-not functional

    When attempting to download budget template by class (Subdivided), the "Download budget template" feature does not work and no file gets generated; such template can only be generated at Consolidated format level. This feature in QB online is being offered; however, it does not function properly. Even the new Spreadsheet Sync feature does not allow creating budgets at the class level! Software Developer should resolve the issue with this feature being offered; manually entering budgets by class is time consuming and defeat the purpose of using Excel as means of automation.

    I'm here to complain about the lagging and time it takes to do simple tasks in QBO. My billing process takes a lot longer than it should because of the lag I experience when trying to create an invoice. My monthly subscription cost keeps going up, but this site keeps slowing down. I've visited other sites just to make sure it's not my computer or internet connection, and everything else seems to work fine except QBO.

    I tried to voice my concern through the online chat and the rep I spoke to directed me to this feedback forum. I'm not sure if this is where I should be or not, but here I am.

19. Make more options for shortcuts on dashboard

    on my shortcuts on dashboard I had customers and vendors. I was also able to receive payment and pay a bill after entering an invoice and bill at the bottom of the invoice and after an update those were removed. I can still enter them but I have to open different pages and it takes longer. Which coming from desktop version I was just getting everything figured out and now its back to relearning stuff again.
