Bring back removed invoicing features
The new invoice template update removed the critical feature of being able to add billable expenses to a bundle on an invoice. We have always been able to do this with Quickbooks online (you could drag and drop individual expenses into whatever bundle they are supposed to be in) and the feature was inexplicably removed. Tech support says they can not help and can not tell us if the feature will be returned. We cannot invoice our clients properly without this feature. This feature can obviously be added back easily since it existed for the past 4+ years we have been QBO subscribers. When will this be fixed? Without a fix, we will be forced to find new accounting software completely. This feature is also a requirement for creating estimates properly. Why have product and service bundles if you have removed the ability to use the bundles for invoicing?

Allow for automated taxes and forms on specific State accounts, rather than blanket ‘on’ or ‘off’ for all State taxes and forms. Currently, the Montana Unemployment Admin Tax is calculating incorrectly for Reimbursable Employers. However, automated Taxes and forms cannot be turned for only the Montana Unemployment related taxes and forms. Rather automated taxes and forms has to be turned off for ALL Montana payroll taxes and forms, including Income Tax Withholding. This is incredibly inefficient, we are wanting to use the automated taxes and forms for as many State accounts as possible, however the system limitations do not make sense and they significantly impact this ability.

Currently there is a system limitation that will not allow Montana Unemployment reimbursable employers to utilize automated payments and filings due to the fact that the calculation for the MT UI Admin Tax includes the taxable wage base. This is incorrect - for the State of Montana, reimbursable accounts do not have a taxable wage base and must pay tax on total wages. For reimbursable employers, any of their employees that earn more than the taxable wage base ($43,000 in 2024) the MT UI Admin Tax will stop calculating after wages surpass $43,000 and any associated quarterly reports and tax payments will be incorrect.
