  2. Intuit Low Code Platform

    Quickbooks has become a popular platform for backed business operations. Obviously Quickbooks cannot service the frontend requirements. But if Quickbooks can create a low code platform like zoho creator, developers, vendors can build applications for frontend requirements.

    Preferably if Quickbooks can create platform for service based business like hotels, airbnb, multi vendor marketplaces, real estates portals, sparefoot.com like portals it would be a huge opportunity.

    Unlike hotels/resorts domain which has lots of opensource platforms, selfstorage platforms has zero opensource frameworks.

    If not opensource, low code system will help accelerate this billion $$ business opportunity

  3. Add Ability to Email Packing Slip

    Currently Quickbooks (desktop) only allows for emailing an invoice. Very frustrating. We should be able to email anything, including the packing slip. We don't want our employees or contractors to see our invoices, but we need them to work with the packing slip to pack and ship orders, etc. But you only currently allow emailing the invoice only. Please, please, fix this.

  4. Ability to collapse sub-class codes on reports - horizontal axis

    When running reports such as "Profit and Loss by Class" all the accounts and sub-accounts are on the vertical axis and can be expanded and collapses to show all accounts or just the parent accounts.
    It would be very valuable to do likewise on the horizontal axis to show all classes or be able to collapse to show just the "parent" classes.

  5. Reconciliation screen – Cannot add class for Service fees and interest

    When doing a bank reconciliation, the beginning screen shows the Beginning Balance followed by boxes to enter the Ending balance and Ending date. Just to the right of those boxes, it would be quite handy to have a dropdown to be able to chose a class (if classes are turned on) to assign for service fees and interest from the statement being reconciled.

  9. Assign or unassign payroll pay schedules to multiple employees at once.

    We should be able to go into Gear menu> Payroll Settings> Select 'Pay Schedules' and see our default pay schedule and click on it to see all employees assigned to that payschedule. There should be an option to unassign or assign employees to a new schedule without having to go into each separate employee and select the new schedule on the drop down. It should be a setting in Payroll Settings.

  10. Automatically autofill the next payroll check numbers based on the previous payroll check number used.

    Right now, we have the option after submitting payroll to enter in the starting payroll check number and click the (blue) autofill option. However, this should be automated - QuickBooks should remember the last paycheck number used on the last payroll and automatically input that number for us.

  11. Show company name and address on contractor checks

    Include our company name and address on the contractor check. Currently, if you go to print preview on a W2 employee's paper check, you will see our company name and address displayed in the upper left of the print preview of the check. Please add that to contractor checks as well.

  13. Group chat in quickbooks time

    Would love to have a chat service within the app for company notifications relevant to multiple jobs or changes. It would need to be interactive with all users so that questions that are posted can be answered on the app.
    Also as a possible upgrade - multiple group chats (functioning much like messenger or whatsapp)

  15. Allow for multiple tax rates. This is necessary because the Square to Door Dash integration creates a new tax rate

    I understand this feature exists on Quick Books Desktop. Currently the integration from Square to Quickbooks is failing because the Square/DoorDash integration created a new tax. See images attached.

  16. Import expense details from csv

    Please allow csv upload of itemized receipts to create new expenses.

    Each receipt from one of my primary vendors must be split into several different expense categories. The receipts are itemized and available in csv format.

    There is currently no way get this data into Quickbooks without manually retyping every line item on the receipt and its corresponding expense category.

    • The "New Expense" sheet has no way to import data.
    • Splitting a credit card transaction requires manually entering each item.
    • The receipt capture features do not allow capturing individual items from the receipt, or splitting the receipt into multiple expense…

  18. allow bank rules to migrate over from desktop to online

    I just moved my 6 year old QB Desktop to QB Online. I had 476 bank rules set up in QB Desktop. After migration I have ZERO rules set up in QB Online. There HAS to be someway to integrate this during migration.

    Import bill for CIS subcontractor - UK

    Current bill import function will allow you to import a bill into say account CIS cost standard (20%) but fails to calculate the CIS deduction.

    After the import you have to manually edit each bill to force through the calculation.

  20. Ability to switch Header/Title view from 'Layperson's' to 'Accounting' terms

    I understand the need to simplify the terminology for the non-bookkeeper user or business owner. As a bookkeeper, I actually find it confusing to navigate QBO with the over-simplified terminology! I would definitely appreciate the option to select an 'Accountant' view. The column headers in Bank Feed (and Cash Flow Money In/Money out) could switch to Receipts and Disbursements instead of Spent and Received. Why are they using the term Sales Form? What happened to Invoice? Did everyone forget what that is? In Expenses, not sure why there is a difference between bills and expenses?? aren't bills an expense too??…
