I’ve been using QuickBooks Mobile on iOS and Android for over a year now—mainly to send invoices on the go, check payments, and do quick account lookups. It definitely covers the basics, but there are a few areas where it still feels like a lightweight companion instead of a fully capable app.

For instance, I recently had to edit an invoice while I was out and realized that custom fields aren't supported on mobile. I needed to include a reference line and a specific due date format, but I couldn’t do it until I got back to my desktop. This kind of disconnect between the mobile and desktop experience slows everything down.

Syncing is another issue. Sometimes I update customer details on mobile, and it doesn’t show up in QuickBooks Online right away—or worse, I find out it didn’t save at all. That’s a real problem when you rely on it during client visits.
