QuickBooks Online + Payroll is a disaster
I've been a QB user since the software was invented - yeah, a long time. The transition from QBDT to QBO has been a disaster for our small non-profit organization. I've had problems with checks not lining up for printing (at least five times I've had to realign in the past two months) and now I find I cannot have two separate payroll salary categories (i.e. Management Salary and Maintenance Salary). Why have tags disappeared from the bank transactions?
We used to be able to add tags when confirming bank account transactions, but that field has suddenly disappeared! Having to confirm the transaction and then go to the vendor screen to edit the transaction to add the tags is a ridiculous waste of time. There is absolutely NO reason for you to have gotten rid of this function.

service rate cannot be negative
I prefer to give my discounts as line items as I only discount my services not parts. QBO allows the service rate to be -0.15 (for 15% discount) but in the app i cannot set a negative rate.

Add ability to add columns to invoice and options to toggle on/off visibility when printing/PDF
I have read numerous complaints about the lack of options for hiding selected invoice columns when printing or saving as PDF. There are many situations where certain columns are valuable to be visible while creating an invoice however should not be visible to the customer when printed or saved as a PDF.

On the customer display screen previously we had the address displayed with the payment. Since March 14, 2024 this no longer exists. Can this be added back?

Was made aware today that my employees have FULL access to all my own Company books and information as well.
Regardless whether we specifically applied users rights and permissions to specific clients. This permissions and user rights granted only apply to the customer/client account. The users have full visibility and access to Accountant books as well.
