Allow connection for Bank of the Philippine Islands bank accounts. Currently showing and error and looks like has not been able to resolve this issue for quite sometimes now, which sucks. It could have bring more users from Philippine as well if this is addressed.

Approve time at different pay rates
Employees working same job, same day but at different rates need to have their time approved at the specific rate. For example, employee works 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The 'night shift pay' starts at 1:00 AM (we have out employees clock out and back in so 1-6 am is a separate time entry for approval). We need the ability to approve the night shift at the lower night pay rate. Currently unable to do this which is a big concern.

Show QUANTITY TOTALS on Invoices, and as subtotals.
The ability to show quantity totals just as you do subtotals and totals of cost. This is very important for me in particular to show total hours worked.

Add a feature allowing for Dynamic Messages on Recurring Invoices
When sending recurring invoices for "month ahead" services, it would make this recurring process even more worthwhile and effective if the invoice message could be made to update with a date appropriate message that changes each month to give the month the services are being billed for:
If it's issued on Feb 1 for services in March 2024, it would say "March 2024" in Feb, and then April 2024 on the March invoice and so on.5 votes -

Similar to the "accountant" role, Quickbooks Online should have a view only access user/role which encompasses all reports and activity and audit log but no edit abilities for for company Auditors, Board members, Executives, or any other proper personnel associated with a company that should be given full access to the books with no risk they'll accidently manipulate the data.

Remove Inactive Accounts When Running Reports

Email notification of payroll ToDo
When customers are using QBO and Payroll with Auto Pay/File turned on, there are occasional account or system issues that prevent the auto pay/file from happening causing a ToDo item to be pushed to the customer for action.
Problems arise with this process when customers are using a small screens to access their account, these important items may not be seen at first glance without scrolling down the page.

Payroll Federal Taxes
There needs to be a solution for quickbooks not withholding federal taxes due to part time employees not showing a threshhold till $10,000. Most our employees are part time employees and this is a second job. Pulling zero federal taxes on their paycheck is ridiculous . There are numerous complaints online about this issue and it causes alot of trouble with my employees. Why cant you fix your withholding issue if this is a second job to pull federal taxes or allow the taxes to be pulled correctly and refunded at end of year if overpaid?

QBO Essentials should support basic budgeting capabilities. I don't need multiple budgets, but having the ability to configure a single budget and run estimated vs. actual report seems like a very basic feature needed for any business. It's a big gap that this doesn't exist today.
