1. Adding Drag/Drop to Bundles in New Invoice Template

   With the old invoice template, it was LOVELY to be able to drag/drop other items (ie: billable expenses/billable time) to bundles in QBO (see my article here: https://www.stacyk.net/add-billable-time-or-billable-expenses/).

   The new template does not allow for this, and aside from the generally cumbersome layout of the invoice, removing this feature means that functionality has DECREASED with this "improvement".

   PLEASE allow drag/drop again!

   I’ve noticed that many small businesses struggle with organizing menus and pricing while using QuickBooks Mobile. One improvement that could help is adding a cleaner menu-style layout for items.

3. QB app - estimate tab sorting and display

   Prior to the new layout rollout - the estimate tab both in the browser and in the app used to display the list of estimates sorted by estimate date.

   After the new layout change - the browser view is the same as before, but the app is different. Now my estimates in the QB app are sorted based on the estimate number. Not the date.

   Please, change the estimates sorting within the app to “by estimate date”. Just like it is in the browser. And how it always had been prior to the updated layout launch.

   See attached screenshots that show how my estimates are displayed in the browser and in the app.

   Also note that the app doesn’t show the estimate date next to each estimate. Again, a feature that used to be available in the app before, and it is still there in the browser.

   I’ve been trying to customize my invoice templates in QuickBooks Online to better reflect my business branding, but I’ve run into some difficulties. 9. Make the product/service description searchable again!!

   I can't search the description keyword anymore to find a product/service when creating an invoice with the new layout! The description doesn't even show up when you search a p/s anymore. My p/s names are named by the part number. For example a 10lb ABC fire extinguisher is 120 and the description was 10lb abc fire extinguisher. If i searched abc, it would pop up but now i can only search 120 to find it. Go back to the old invoice style! My technicians invoice in the field and can't memorize over 1,500 part numbers! ALSO, on the mobile app, when editing the custom invoice # you can no longer add letters only numbers??? WTF? I name my invoices after which technician is completing the service.

13. Edit (or Enter) Invoice Number on QB Mobile

    With the new layout using Quickbooks Mobile (iOS), we can no longer edit our Invoice Numbers. This will not work for our company as our Invoice Numbers correspond to a number of things and are NOT sequential (the default automatically provides Numbers we cannot use).
    
    Using Quickbooks Online (where we can edit the Invoice Numbers) through my phone's browser or on a computer will not be an acceptable long term solution. I'll limp along with this for a few days while I search for another Invoicing Software.
    
    Fix it, and you keep a customer in us. Thanks for your great Software and historically great customer service. Looking forward to your solution to this problem that will cost our professional relationship if left unresolved for long.
