Approve time at different pay rates
Employees working same job, same day but at different rates need to have their time approved at the specific rate. For example, employee works 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The 'night shift pay' starts at 1:00 AM (we have out employees clock out and back in so 1-6 am is a separate time entry for approval). We need the ability to approve the night shift at the lower night pay rate. Currently unable to do this which is a big concern.

I am using Quickbooks online. I have recently transferred from Quickbooks Desktop. In the Desktop, it has a preference to set todays date as the default. Can you make it an option in Quickbooks Online.
I will be inputing bills into the system and a customer will walk in and I forget that the date has changed from the last thing that I posted.
So then I have to go back and fix all my invoices, reprint, and have customers resign their copy. DISASTER.1 vote -
Sales Tax Based on location is necessary for service at location businesses
As of 5/8/2024 I lost the ability to apply sales tax rates based on location of our customer. This is a needed feature for a service based business, such as a electrician, where we travel to the customers location and they are required to pay sales tax based on their location not our place of business. The new form does not allow me to do what I've done the past year to type in location and then QB calculates their sales tax. I can now only first determine customers sales tax rate then override the sales tax that QB wants…

Allow payroll items to be connected to work locations so you can run one payroll for employees that work in multiple locations/states
Ability to setup multiple state locations for an employee in the same payroll. Currently, If the employee works at two work locations during the same pay period you can not run one payroll. This is particularly an issue if the work locations are in different states. It would be very helpful to have payroll items that are associated with work locations. If the payroll items were associated with the work location. I have a VA resident that works at the VA and NC physical work locations. You need to remove the Due Date, Amount and Review and Pay on an estimate. I send multiple options that the customer can select from.
There has to be a glitch. When I send an estimate through Quickbooks it shows A Due Date, Amount and Review and Pay on the estimate. This should not be on an estimate, only when you send the invoice. I include multiple options for different scopes of work on one estimate. I have had two customers freak out already when they received the estimate. This needs to be addressed immediately please
