7. Reverse Charge VAT Codes for Goods and Services from non-EU Countries

   Hello. I am a QBO business user based in Ireland, an EU country. QBO currently provides me with built-in/predefined Reverse Charge VAT Codes for Goods and Services bought from suppliers in EU Countries – these codes are excellent. However, QBO does NOT provide me with Reverse Charge VAT Codes for Goods and Services bought from suppliers in non-EU Countries, e.g., UK, USA. This is a critical requirement.

   Developing non-EU RC VAT codes should be straightforward as you can re-use the functionality used by the existing EU RC VAT codes with the exception that you do not link the transactions to EU entries in VAT Returns.

   Available today: EU RC VAT Codes: RCS, RCG, RCSR, RCGR
   To be Developed: Non-EU RC VAT Codes: RCS-non-EU, RCG-non-EU, RCSR-non-EU, RCGR-non-EU

   I have noticed numerous other queries online, both in the QBO community and outside the community, highlighting this problem. It would be very beneficial to many QBO business users in the EU, including Ireland, that you introduce these VAT codes. Without these VAT codes users must consider switching to other accounting software platforms that do provide them and/or the ability to create them.

   If you agree to develop the new VAT codes, I would be happy to assist with testing.

12. We use to track milage for our trucks by class. The new Enterprise version 23 is too cumbersome

    For Enterprise Version 23, the workflow is terrible and time consuming.
    1. Add Save and New so we do not have to start from step one to Select a Trip each time
    2. Default End Date to Start Date
    3. Do not make Company and Item Required
    4. When manfully entering start and end miles, remove the pop-up

    Or, simply provide the option to have the previous way to enter mileage. We use the mileage to track mileage of 2 business owned trucks by class. Not all classes have customers,. I have a document that I can submit .
