    In order to be safer, Delta Airlines has set a weight limit for these bassinet seats. This weight limit is the maximum weight that the bassinet can bear. Thus, to have a Delta Airlines Bassinet Seat, the infant needs to be within the weight limit of 20 lbs or 9 kg. Having more weight than will not make the infant eligible for having the bassinet seat for the infants on the flight.
