  4. QB app - estimate tab sorting and display

    Prior to the new layout rollout - the estimate tab both in the browser and in the app used to display the list of estimates sorted by estimate date.

    After the new layout change - the browser view is the same as before, but the app is different. Now my estimates in the QB app are sorted based on the estimate number. Not the date.

    Please, change the estimates sorting within the app to “by estimate date”. Just like it is in the browser. And how it always had been prior to the updated layout launch.

  7. Cancel the New Estimate Acceptance Process

    My QBO was recently updated and now it request me an acceptance process before I can convert the estimate to an invoice.

    How can I disable it?? It's now taking me a long time to process my estimates into invoices.

  8. Add image or product image inside the ESTIMATES rather than attaching it

    It would be hard if its not inside the ESTIMATES other clients still need to ask which is which. You should come up with an idea where you can upload the product image directly to the estimates not as attachments

  9. Option for multiple customer facing emails

    QBO should have the option to have different customer facing emails. For instance, if a user has multiple departments (i.e. sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.), it is inefficient to have all correspondence go through one customer facing email instead of being able to have a separate email for estimates, invoices, etc.

  11. Option to upgrade to the new Estimates/invoice layout

    I spent 2 hours speaking to representatives about this issue. The goal is to send an estimate, have the customer accept the estimate online, and have a deposit requested automatically.
    The OLD invoice layout does not allow this. The new one does. There is no way to upgrade from the old one to the new one. The representative suggested i create a new QBO account, which I did, and it had the new layout. Then i would need to backup all of my data from the old account and move it over manually.   13. Estimate Subtotal Headings

    Hello QBO Online team - I'm posting this in the mobile section because I'm having a tough time finding where to create a new idea in the QBO Online forums, I hope it reaches the right people.

    It would be very helpful to add a feature that allows the user to create headings within the content of an estimate. If a job has multiple parts, it can be hard in the current format to delineate between them.

  16. Add a PPrice Column in the estimate/invoice that only the business owner can see

    I just moved over from using the QuickBooks 2014. Much to my surprise I have been using a feature that is critial to my business that you don't have in your cloud version. I have been using a PPrice (Purchased Price) column on my estimates and invoices that helps me determine what I will change the customer per item. As a Master Gardener I purchase plants from many nurserys and list my cost in that column. The PPrice Column disappears when I print or send the invoice/estimate to the client or vendor.   17. Add a Project Name field to Estimate & Ability to enter mark-up % or $

    Two great additions to Estimates would be to have a fileld labeled "Project" so it can be tracked and separated from the customer's name if desired.

    As a general contractor we want to send an estimate to the customer's nmae, but we name our projects based on the street name address. Our work-around for this has been to enter the Customer as street name: MILTON 1377
    The problem is we do not want the estimate to be addressed to MILTON 1377 instead of Jane Doe.

  18. Permit Estimates to retain "linked" status when converting invoice to recurring invoice.

    An estimate which requires installment payments over 12 months is possible but each month the user is required to generate a one time invoice from the Estimate UI. (You can also link from a new invoice to the previously created Estimate.) If the payment period is set to a known duration it would save time to create one "linked" invoice from an Estimate and convert the created invoice into a recurring invoice but still retain the "linked" status between invoice and estimate.   19. Estimates/Proposals

    Allow or create a template that allows users to create a proposal that explains the "scope of services" to be provided. My clients expect professional proposals, not estimates and I need to provide a description of the project, work to be provided/performed, schedule, and methods.
