Option to upgrade to the new Estimates/invoice layout
I spent 2 hours speaking to representatives about this issue. The goal is to send an estimate, have the customer accept the estimate online, and have a deposit requested automatically.
The OLD invoice layout does not allow this. The new one does. There is no way to upgrade from the old one to the new one. The representative suggested i create a new QBO account, which I did, and it had the new layout. Then i would need to backup all of my data from the old account and move it over manually. Estimate Subtotal Headings
Hello QBO Online team - I'm posting this in the mobile section because I'm having a tough time finding where to create a new idea in the QBO Online forums, I hope it reaches the right people.
It would be very helpful to add a feature that allows the user to create headings within the content of an estimate. If a job has multiple parts, it can be hard in the current format to delineate between them.

Estimates/Proposals
Allow or create a template that allows users to create a proposal that explains the "scope of services" to be provided. My clients expect professional proposals, not estimates and I need to provide a description of the project, work to be provided/performed, schedule, and methods. The estimates templates do not work for professional services firms (engineering, consulting, etc.) See example attached

Add a PPrice Column in the estimate/invoice that only the business owner can see
I just moved over from using the QuickBooks 2014. Much to my surprise I have been using a feature that is critial to my business that you don't have in your cloud version. I have been using a PPrice (Purchased Price) column on my estimates and invoices that helps me determine what I will change the customer per item. As a Master Gardener I purchase plants from many nurserys and list my cost in that column. The PPrice Column disappears when I print or send the invoice/estimate to the client or vendor. Add a Project Name field to Estimate & Ability to enter mark-up % or $
Two great additions to Estimates would be to have a fileld labeled "Project" so it can be tracked and separated from the customer's name if desired.
As a general contractor we want to send an estimate to the customer's nmae, but we name our projects based on the street name address. Our work-around for this has been to enter the Customer as street name: MILTON 1377

Accepting Estimations & having a Quotation option
Why does QB not have automatic acceptance of estimations, so that the client can accept the price? this way the business would not have to chase clients to see if they accept the price. In addition, why is there only a option to give estimations and not quotes, as in the UK these are different.
Estimations can differ in price
Quotations are a largely binding price between company and client.
Clients prefer Quotes so they know what they will pay

Permit Estimates to retain "linked" status when converting invoice to recurring invoice.
An estimate which requires installment payments over 12 months is possible but each month the user is required to generate a one time invoice from the Estimate UI. (You can also link from a new invoice to the previously created Estimate.) If the payment period is set to a known duration it would save time to create one "linked" invoice from an Estimate and convert the created invoice into a recurring invoice but still retain the "linked" status between invoice and estimate. Provide ability to remove Total Pricing from an Estimate
Provide the ability to remove total pricing for an estimate. Just provide a check box that allows us to remove it. Sometimes we need a job list on site for our team but we don't want to share product pricing as well as the total price of the job. Allow us to remove this easily on the estimate.

Estimate Expiration Date
We would like to have the ability to turn on a feature that automatically puts an expiration date in an estimate. An example would be that we want all estimates to expire 7 days after entry date.

Allow us to see the COST of an item in the Estimate page.
Note: I don't know why this ended up in the QuickBooks MOBILE Feedback area, it was meant for the Online Website version, but honestly it would also be very convenient for the Mobile app as well, so whatever.
I would like to be able to see how much an item COST ME in the New Estimate screen.. It wouldn't be shown to the customer obviously when the estimate is sent, just so I can adjust the price real quick if need be.

Accept Estimates Online
I have an electrical company and I would love to be able to have a button link embedded to the email (estimate) similar to the "Pay Invoice" button so our customers can accept the estimate online and not have to print, sign, scan and send back to us!

PO & Quotation Template
The PO & Quotation template could not be customized to user needs according to the business nature. There is an option to send the PO digitally but the form still contain a section whereby the person need to fill up the approver details and date.
Please look into create the template as attached.
