  1. Duplication of running invoice number on QuickBooks

    QuickBooks allows only one user to create the invoice to prevent the duplication of number. But, in case of our business which has many operation locations (Many users), they have created the invoice at the same time and run with the duplication of invoice number. The option that we got from you is to manually edit. But we do not want to manually edit to prevent any kind of errors. The system developer should have considered my concern.

  3. Making more than ONE payment with a credit card

    There is NO method of paying MORE THAN ONE OVERDUE PAYMENT on a CREDIT CARD. The instructions on the invoice are either ONLY for that ONE MONTH'S PAYMENT OF $125 can be paid or ONE MUST PAY THE ENTIRE BALANCE. If a person could pay his/her entire balance, there would be no need to ever list an OVERDUE AMOUNT.

  4. Payment using bank transfer will not go through

    I have paid Intuit invoices from Caregivers of the Lehigh Valley in the past using the bank transfer method with no problems. But when I try to pay invoices to Bluespring Agency using the bank transfer method they will not go through. This is an ongoing problem. I have two bank accounts to pay invoices with but neither one will go through for Bluespring Agency. This is a royal pain in the a$$. The only way I can pay is through debit transfers with Wells Fargo which means I have to deposit a check from LVEFCU into Wells F. then…

  5. Improve Invoice Search Filtering

    QuickBooks search is too limited. We need the ability to search invoices using multiple custom description fields at once, such as civic address and job type. Right now, if I search for an address, I get every invoice for that location, even ones unrelated to what I need. If I search for a job type, I get hundreds of results instead of being able to narrow them down.

    There should be an advanced search function that allows users to combine multiple fields. For example:

    • Civic address 123 Main St + Job Type
    • Civic address 456 Elm St + Service Call

  7. Unbelieveable that Desktop Pro Plus does not allow for alternate shading lines on Proposals and Invoices

    When you have an Invoice or Proposal with lines and lines of items it is unacceptable that Quickbooks doesn't offer the option of alternating shaded lines.
    We and our customers are reduced to using a ruler to go thru the items.

  9. There is a problem entering 3rd party Disability Pay in New Jersey

    There is a problem with entering New Jersey 3rd party disability pay. The line item for "disability addition" is categorized as "compensation", however while it is "taxed" for federal wages it is NOT taxed by New Jersey. Therefore the W2 at the end of the year is wrong for New Jersey Compensation. There needs to be a special category created for entering 3rd party disability pay for New Jersey users.

    Invoicing in Quickbook Self-employed.

    I need to save and download the invoices and send tham from an other account, email and cc. multiple persons. Please make it available to use invoicing without sending the invoice throught the app.

  15. Character limitations for fields in QB

    We need to extend the 'Customer, Vendor, and Other Names' field to 60 characters. The names we handle exceed the 41 characters allowed and cannot be abbreviated or shortened due to billing issues and BCP.

    The limitation in this field is causing issues when interfacing between QB and AceSuite, as it is not possible to register the full name in QB.

  17. I would prefer to have your account number so I can send the payment there instead of giving you my account number

    If possible we prefer to pay bills from our side. Instead of putting our account number in your interface we prefer to have the account number to be deposited to appear on your bill, and that way we can send money from our account to yours.

    Customers have been asking for it for years in your forums.
    ADD AUTOSAVE to your invoice/statements, this is ridiculous, I lose more money than your dam subscription, when it logs out and doesn't save an invoice and I don't notice it.

  20. custom reports

    I would like the ability to create custom reports with more options. I tried to create a report I needed for an employee census for our 401k. The columns I needed were name, SSN, DOB, hire date, term date, gross income, total hours worked for the year. Despite being assisted by a customer service rep, I was not able to create the report because there weren't enough options for me to choose from for employees. As I now have to provide this report quarterly it would be great if I could create this report for employees on one report.
