Optimize Touch Interaction Latency and Prevent Tap Delay on Mobile Web UI
When accessing QuickBooks Online via mobile browsers, high-frequency tapping on list items or quick action buttons sometimes feels sluggish. We suggest implementing touch-action CSS properties (like touch-action: manipulation) and removing the 300ms click delay to make the mobile web UI feel as responsive as a native app. For instance, when designing highly tactile user interfaces, such optimization makes a significant difference. We saw great results applying similar techniques to our web project https://scritchyscratchy.cc. Reducing UI thread blocking during quick tapping loops greatly enhances the overall user experience.
