One area where QuickBooks Mobile could improve is better support for small manufacturing and 3D printing businesses — especially those who operate on the go. Many of us in the 3D printing space (like our team working with PrusaSlicer https://theprusaslicer.net/ ) often manage multiple micro-orders and material costs that fluctuate frequently.

It would be incredibly helpful if QuickBooks Mobile offered:

Custom templates for tracking filament/material inventory

Faster input methods for micro-transactions

Easier syncing of job costs with third-party production tools

For example, when slicing models using PrusaSlicer, we calculate estimated material use and costs, but there’s no seamless way to sync that with QuickBooks Mobile. Having some level of API or file import support (even from G-code estimates) could be a huge win for small 3D printing shops.
