Invoice template: "Message to customer" should be specific to that particular template and not update all invoice templates
When a new invoice template is created or an existing one is edited, if the customer message is changed, it is changed for all existing invoice templates. The customer message should be specific to each template and not update other templates.

One of the advantages of an *online* system is to communicate with customers electronically (i.e. often via email) in tailored ways. Thus, I echo the sentiments of Alexia below (Dec 11th 2023 comment). Without an ability to customize the email subject and message, the value of customized templates for various types of Estimates and Invoices is *dramatically* reduced.

Please implement this. It is absolutely critical! No point being able to create multiple templates for invoices if the email message on them has to be the same for all? At the same time, the 'message for customer' field should be able to be custom for all different form templates. If you have a different template for one type of invoice you should be able to have a custom message attached to one type of invoice.

Or maybe a flag/switch to opt in/out for all templates? Such as ...."make this change effective for all templates?"

this should not just be a iOS/android thing...it should be on all QB online.

Agreed - it should also apply to the email subject line as well. This is so easy to do, I cannot believe this was first requested in 2020.

Depending on our client's level of service, and their staggered renewal dates, we need to have multiple invoice templates and a unique email message for each invoice type. The message to accompany the renewal invoice needs to be different from the standard invoice.
We switched over to QuickBooks online 6 months ago and the functionality is not as strong as desktop. The sooner this can be corrected the better!!! Please advise when this will be available.
