Enable 'Send Later' Invoices and Estimates to be sent on a particular date
You can currently create invoices and estimates so that they can be sent at a later date. However, to then send these documents you have to undertake a batch send manually. It would be better if you could set the date you want each invoice sent so that the systems sends them automatically on that date. This would mean I could prepare invoices prior to the end of the month and get them sent out all in one go on the dates required. especially handy if you are on holiday

+1
I also prepare invoices in the middle of the night. I would love to have the ability to "schedule send" (email) at a more appropriate time. I want to accomplish this without the cumbersome "extra" task of creating instances of "recurring" invoices that are actually not recurring at all, but necessary to delay sending of an invoice to a later date/time. QBO competitors have this functionality already. As a leader in this space, I hope Intuit plans to implement something similar. Thanks

instead of using the client's email use your own, aka email it to yourself. then use gmail to "Forward" only remove the "FWD" from the subject and the email header that includes then click schedule send. and tada you have it. its work around but it works.

This would be a great feature to have so clients don't realise I am working at all hours of the night.

Quickbooks, get on this. Like Z.T. said, it's 2021 and you're living in 1999

Pre-scheduling the delivery date of a **single** invoice is such a basic feature that I need and I cannot believe it doesn't exist. It's 2021 and this is such an elementary and essential feature (which should be easy enough to add given that recurring invoices - i.e. **multiple** scheduled invoices -- is a feature that already exists!)
Imagine if my bank didn't let me schedule the date of a single (non-recurring) payment date in the bank's onine Bill Pay interface -- that would be preposterous in 2021, wouldn't it? Well, QuickBooks Online (QBO) - your software is the equivalent of that.
Do not tell me to go through the hassle of setting up a recurring invoice for a one-off invoice that I want to create today and have automatically sent out on some specific future date. That's not a viable solution.
FYI, Xero (leading competitor to QBO) has an extension available from "Invoice Away" that seems to enable this functionality. https://www.invoiceaway.io/
I'm sure if QBO would just natively build and incorporate this feature it might actually attract new, and help retain existing, customers!
I don't even need this built into a mobile app...just enable it on the desktop web interface and I'll be happy!
I want to click "Save & Schedule Send" to be an option -- just like in the attached image that I created.

Indeed this would be really handy. Sometimes I need to interrupt a recurring invoice because the amount for that month changed, so this way I could just click "skip next", copy the recurring as a one-off, then schedule it to be sent later. Would be so nice!

I agree. At the moment the only way you can schedule an invoice to be sent is using the recurring feature but sometimes if it's a one-off invoice which you don't want to send straight away there's no way to do that.
