Feature drops trips in the background
Hey team and fellow business owners,
I wanted to drop some feedback on the Mileage Tracking feature. Having an automated log for business trips is crucial for tax season, but the mobile app's background tracking has been incredibly unreliable lately.
Too often, the app completely misses the start of a drive if it's running in the background, or it randomly cuts a single long trip into three separate, fragmented segments. I’ve checked all my location settings, toggled "Always Allow," and turned off battery saving—yet it still drops trips. When it does work, the battery drain is noticeably heavy.
To the dev team: We really need a more robust background tracking algorithm that plays nice with modern OS background restrictions, or at least a simple, lightweight "Start/Stop Trip" manual widget on the home screen to ensure trips are captured accurately without launching the full app every time. Thanks!
