I have an old PST file from Outlook that is password-protected and has become so large that Outlook can't open it quickly. I want to break everything up into smaller, easier-to-handle pieces, which can be by size or by year. The problem is that the PST file is secured with a password, so I am not sure if it's even feasible to split it without first deleting the password. I tried to open it in Outlook, but it is too big and slow and I do not want to lose any data. So my question is, Can I split a password-protected PST file using any tool or method, without having to remove the password manually or risk corrupting the data?
