This feedback is as useless as your phone support. GARBAGE

This is a deeply frustrating issue. I was able to track mileage in the Quickbooks app until recently. As far as I can tell this was not the self employed variant or any special version, it was the only app under the Quickbooks name in the Android play store.
I recently had to reset the phone and restore all my apps and this feature disappeared.

To add to my frustration a tab called mileage has now appeared in the web version yet I am unable to access it without becoming a master admin, and that can only be done by losing the discount I get through my accountant and buying Quickbooks separately.
Please fix this.
PS I see this comment thread dates back to 2013, some evidence that it has even been read would be welcome.

totally agree, I have a customer that is now having to track mileage and it needs to be as simple and easy to use as possible and syncing in to QBO Plus too. Very frustrating that this is not available

Auto mileage tracking - I use this with the Self Employe app. I'd like to have this mileage tracking in the Plus version so I don't have to have two apps.

Im a ride share driver and im always wondering if you guys could make a widget to toggle on and off the mileage traker so i only turne it on when im actually ride-sharing because now although is a simple swipe left or right by the time I go to check on the trips i have to sometimes go through 40-60 trips like can we have a widget to toggle off and on or one that toggles it on and off and call it the ride share widget

Quickbooks self employed tracks mileage qbo does not, and qbo does not do quarterly estimated taxes. Why? Makes no since!

Would be great to just click on tracked mileage and add to an invoice

Thank you for making such a powerful yet user friendly app.

Please somehow sync this app with QB Self Employed, or do something on this app to the effect that it allows me the same convenience that QBSE allows such that I can track mileage and take pictures of checks with the app. Right now I'm using QBSE to track mileage and take pictures of checks but it might as well be a 3rd party app with no association with QB at all. Please integrate.

I notice that there are requests for a mileage tracker from clear back in 2014. I have used QB desktop since 2011, had just upgraded to 2016, when my accountant wanted to go over to the online version. As a sole proprietor, I only need to track my mileage.. its ridiculous that you haven't addressed this in the online version. As it stands, I am using my QB'16 to track my mileage, and the QBO to communicate with my accountant. Again.. Please add this.

In Quickbook Self Employed we had an Mileage, but not in QuickBook Online, can I suggest In QuickBok online to had this function?

The same comment I would buy your product again if you allowed the mileage tracking app for your Essentials plan, but you won't support us.

You think that small business should write off the car. Which is dumb. If I buy a car for $30,000 I can take that is a capital deduction and try to track gas and maintenance. But if I can run that car for 300,000 miles I can write off $163,500 under the standard mileage rate.

So give us the mileage tracking we need.

Have part of the online self-employed phone app enable people to track their mileage and car expenses.

Track mileage feature on the mobile app should be available for Quickbooks Plus subscribers, not just Quickbooks self-employed.

Ok, QB, you're going on three years now. You have it for QB self-employed, why not for the rest of the versions? It needs to be automated to use mobile device's GPS or Google Maps, or both, and fully integrated into the QB reporting systems.

It's absolutelty ridiculous that this still is not part of QBO. Do you even listen to your customers??

If the QBSE could also allow for tracking of mileage for charity, moving, and medical--that'd be great! Include all the deductible mileage options. Help us and our clients get everything we can!

Just switched from QB Self-Employed to QBO. I assumed all the features were there. Nope! Found out I had to transfer transactions manually (no automatic import into QBO). Next went looking for mileage tracking. Nope! I had to go back and look at the product comparison chart on the web page and found the grey X's. Not supported. This feature is a must! My "upgrade" was a disappointing downgrade.

Quickbooks online app should be able to scan the receipt like it does with Quickbooks Self Employed. Also should be able to track mileage via the mobile app.

These are needs to make this app more desirable and useful
