QuickBooks Online + Payroll is a disaster
I've been a QB user since the software was invented - yeah, a long time. The transition from QBDT to QBO has been a disaster for our small non-profit organization. I've had problems with checks not lining up for printing (at least five times I've had to realign in the past two months) and now I find I cannot have two separate payroll salary categories (i.e. Management Salary and Maintenance Salary). When I call the reps sound like they know slightly more than I do, and they end the call with: "this sounds like a great feature that you should tell our engineers so they can add it in the future." Nope. It was already a "feature" in the old QBDT, nothing new or innovative...
I am actively looking for ways to go back to the (unsupported) QBDT because QBO is NOT customizable for any business other than retail sales/small entrepreneurial, and much of the existing functionality with QBDT has been lost!
