Automatic sequential numbering of Payments
I am doing a QBDT to QBO conversion for the WA State School for the Blind. They have a state requirement that all Invoices' Receive Payments are automatically sequentially numbered, in the same way it’s done for Invoices and Sales Receipts. That doesn’t seem to exist.
There’s no Payment ID, just the Reference ID text field. We have set them up to keep a manual log of the most recent numbers used so they can enter an ID manually, but that doesn’t satisfy the non-changeable automatic requirement.
After a 2-day implementation, they’re now out of compliance and are not sure…

Go back to the other way!
Go back to being able to make the payment and then printing a paid invoice copy without having to go back and do the whole sign-in process all over again. Also, allowing us to be able to check historical payments.

Send a notifaction if the payment was canceled or bounced.
If your payment bounced send an email to noitify that there wasnt enough funds in bank account.

make a better receipt
have it so that the company and invoice number shows up when saving a receipt. also, the receipt should look like the invoice and say PAID - most other platforms do this.
