The never ending cascade of problems
I have used QB Online for years, but I have had to migrate 2 business in the last few years from desktop to online. I CANNOT BELIEVE THE CONSTANT CASCADE OF NEW PROBLEMS WITH FEATURES THAT ARE FOUNDATIONAL. Today I went to prepare my quarterly tax payments and prepare W2's. Problem - some of my tax payments don't show up, like WA State Workmens Comp and my 4th quarter 941 filing and the accompanying Schedule B, and I can't print out the worksheets for any of the payments that do show up. The W2's are no where to be found.
Couple this with items like:
1. Having to manually switch the mapping of payroll and tax payments when my client wants payroll to come out of one checking account and tax payments to come out of a different checking account. I used to just use the pull down menu for which account to use. This hasn't worked in years.
2. Not being able to change an employees address from a street address to a P.O. Box without calling support to have them make the change, adding an hour onto a task that should take 5 seconds. The support person I talked to had never heard of a P.O. Box. The support person on the forum's solutions was "No problem, just call us to make that change!" How about you just fix the problem?
3. New tax rates not being available in the new year, even though these are available 3 months prior to the turn of the year, and it's time to run payroll, but the new rates aren't available to select,
All this adds up to a huge BLLLLLLAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Also - my theory on this is that, in their rush to herd everyone from desktop to online (I will never forgive you for this, Intuit), they were unprepared to the massive amount of online accounts. Poor planning.
