Support representatives truly need to be better trained. I have spent countless hours on the phone with support because they have no idea how to help me. I have had support staff tell me things that were absolutely wrong and gave me instructions that were completely misguided. This lack of knowledge causes a huge strain in my ability to perform my job duties; its hard to solve simple problems when the support staff meant to help you constantly gives you incorrect information. Also, the time it takes me to get a simple question answered is absurd. Yesterday i called in with what started as a simple question that lead to more than half of my shift being wasted on the phone with a rep that did not even understand my question in the first place and ultimately didn't resolve my issue. Support reps have argued with me on my companies exemption from social security and have asked for paperwork stating our exemption (which i do not need to provide because what our employees are exempt from and what they are not is our responsibility to know). I have just had such an overall terrible experience every time i have to call that support line.
