Non Tax line items shows "T" (tax)
How do our clients decipher which line items are non taxed if the "T" is showing on all line items...example of our invoice is attached.
How do we fix the non tax line items not to show as taxed?fyi...The attached invoice has a non tax line item on it but it shows a "T" .

Sales Tax Based on location is necessary for service at location businesses
As of 5/8/2024 I lost the ability to apply sales tax rates based on location of our customer. This is a needed feature for a service based business, such as a electrician, where we travel to the customers location and they are required to pay sales tax based on their location not our place of business. The new form does not allow me to do what I've done the past year to type in location and then QB calculates their sales tax. I can now only first determine customers sales tax rate then override the sales tax that QB wants…

Custom invoice numbers should be able to add letters
Let me add letters to custom invoice number on the mobile app again! I use first initial of the technician completing the service to identify invoices. Now with new layout you cant add letters on mobile device.

Make the product/service description searchable again!!
I can't search the description keyword anymore to find a product/service when creating an invoice with the new layout! The description doesn't even show up when you search a p/s anymore. My p/s names are named by the part number. For example a 10lb ABC fire extinguisher is 120 and the description was 10lb abc fire extinguisher. If i searched abc, it would pop up but now i can only search 120 to find it. Go back to the old invoice style! My technicians invoice in the field and can't memorize over 1,500 part numbers! Allow the Product/Service Line to be Blank When Providing Multiple Descriptions for One Service!!
With the old QuickBooks invoicing I was able to provide multiple descriptions with quantity and rate for one product/service. Now with the new QuickBooks, I can't leave any product/service line blank and the system will autofill with "Sales" regardless of how many times I delete it. PLEASE change this back!!

Issue with new layout
New updated layout is causing issue for my teams to create invoice. . Especially on the access of other users aside from admin access. This is bummer . this prevents us to do our work. Appreciate if you find solution for this asap or revert back to old version until you find solution for this .Thanks for taking care of it urgently.

Allow invoice import with sales taxes enabled
I would really like to use the invoice import feature but am unable to turn off sales tax ( related to https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/forums/920245-quickbooks-mobile-feedback-forum/suggestions/44869786-ability-to-turn-off-sales-tax-in-qbo )
Please make this feature a priority, as it will save me hours every week.

Ability to search within the description on an invoice

Ability to charge credit card fee to cover fees, without Quickbooks charging extra on the amount to cover the fees.
Credit card fees are really challenging for small businesses. We need a way to charge an optional credit card convenience fee. Right now, Quickbooks calculates their fees on the total amount of the invoice. This means that Quickbooks charges a fee on top of the customer paying extra to cover the credit card fee!

When you get a signature in the mobile app on an invoice, the signature needs to show up on the invoice pdf preview.
Warranty works require signatures on final invoices. Right now, I can get the signature in the mobile app, but it only attaches an image of the signature to the invoice. I need it to display the signature on the printed pdf of the invoice. An image of the signature is rejected.

Invoice Date Displays Wrong In Web Interface
The invoice and sales screen currently display the date wrong. All the other modules work fine except the Invoice and Estimates screens where the date is displayed like 23-1-1 instead of 2023-01-01. This broke during the redesign.

Show QUANTITY TOTALS on Invoices, and as subtotals.
The ability to show quantity totals just as you do subtotals and totals of cost. This is very important for me in particular to show total hours worked.

Add a feature allowing for Dynamic Messages on Recurring Invoices
When sending recurring invoices for "month ahead" services, it would make this recurring process even more worthwhile and effective if the invoice message could be made to update with a date appropriate message that changes each month to give the month the services are being billed for:
If it's issued on Feb 1 for services in March 2024, it would say "March 2024" in Feb, and then April 2024 on the March invoice and so on.3 votes -
