WARNING…
Warn the payor using ALL CAPS they are going to be charged an exorbitant amount of money if they make a mistake and pay by credit card vs ACH. I pay by QuickBooks all the time, I have an Inuit account and have my bank information saved, so paying by ACH is simple for me. I made a mistake and didn’t sign on so I got charged $360. Not only is this a suggestion, it’s a request to wave/refund the processing fee because this was a mistake.

Payment options
I found your payment page quite disconcerting: you need a provision/option for partial payment on an invoice. you need a review/confirmation page before the payment is actually made. I just paid a company using your service the whole invoice instead of the "deposit" they requested. As such, I am extremely uncomfortable having just done that, since I was assuming that both of these things/suggestion were going to be an option deeper into the process. I had no option of cancelling the payment before finalizing it.

If you make a mistake with a credit card number, you can not just change 1 number
The behavior is very strange if you try to correct 1 number in a credit card number. The new number gets added at the end of the credit cad number.

Let me create an account without Intuit ID
Like Shopify, let me save my payment details just with a phone number or email, then send me a code/link to verify identity next time I need to pay.

Have our payment method saved with information so we can just click ok to pay.
The payment method we use should be saved for future and continuing use. We should just be able to click pay now and the payment go through without having to fill everything out again

Allow for annual vs. monthly payments
The company I'm paying offers a one month discount if you pay annually. Add a way for them to show me the option to pay annually if I want to so that I can get the annual pre-pay discount. All I can pay right now is the monthly amount.

Was not compatible with virtual CC
invoice from CPA was not compatible with virtual cards from capital one, as the payment / invoice generation site were different.
"Your IN TAX ADVISORS OF CA purchase was declined because you used a virtual card number (…**) you created for Intuit. Each virtual card number is designed to work with only one merchant."

Offer multiple payment types; Zelle, PayPal, Debit, MC or Visa…

Have the due date on the invoice that is paid along with the date paid.
Have the date this is due on the invoice receipt when we pay it. There is no way to know what month we are paying for.
