People with a business want service dates to be sure they are getting the service they are paying for.

Include explanation "Payment will be made today if you don't select a different date".
You have a new feature that allows payers to selected a different date. I looked at that and wondered: "if I don't select a date, will payment be made today?" Or... "if I don't selected a date - will payment never be made?"
It's a good option - remember the old adage about overwhelming out day with small decisions: we need to save our decision-making energy for the important stuff.
So please include advice to the effect:
"New Features: click here to select a different payment date"
and
"note: payment will be made today if you don't select a date".…

Allow payment via Direct Deposit - no fees!
I pay contractors through my payroll system and would like to be able to use direct deposit. Money goes from my account to yours. It's fast, your payment is guaranteed once the invoice or, even better a regular weekly amount is entered is entered, and there are no fees!

When paying a partial amount, give me an immediate way to pay again.
You allow partial payment, which is awesome. It's not immediately clear how to do it, which could be improved.
However, once a partial payment is made, immediately give me an option to pay more with a different payment type.2 votes -
Allow for batch invoice payments
If there are multiple invoices from a single vendor, allowing for the payer to batch invoices into one lump sum payment would be nice.

payee should be able to make a note!!! SO MANY REQUESTS!
Payee should be able to make a note that prints on the invoice at time of payment. This is basic stuff. Your competition does this.

auto pay!!!! I've left 4 messages on this, and you don't call me back.
Your customers deserve a break from late fees. Some of us have 20-year-old email accounts. When all bills are on autopay, it's hard to remember yours.

Also show the Invoice# and date paid, not just the date due and amount paid.

Please note that the charge is in US dollars (I live in a different country).
For users outside the US, it's frustrating to have the fee in US dollars but without making that clear. I would love it to be converted to other currencies, but if that's not straightforward, at least show that you're charging in US dollars. My country uses dollars too but they're not the same value in exchange!

This invoice is quarterly, but auto-pay is only offered for an annual payment. C'mon, man.
Unusable for quarterly payments. This is so basic it's hard to believe it's missing.

Remove the automatic check of "Process credit card
I receive a lot of payments through Wire, PayPal, Bill.com etc. and every time I register a payment in QuickBooks online, the check mark for "process credit card" is automatically checked, but the payment is never processing a credit card. I suggest leaving that unchecked by default, with the option to check it instead of the other way around. Now I have to go and uncheck it every time to not receive an error message.
