I’m in the process of finalizing my manuscript and looking for some trustworthy and professional book editing services to help me refine and polish my work. This is my first time going through the full publishing process, so I really want to make sure I get the editing part right.

While doing some research, I came across Ottenheimer Publishers. I know they have a long-standing history in the publishing world, but I couldn’t find much info on whether they currently offer editing support for authors. Has anyone here worked with them recently or know if they’re still active in that space?

Also, if you have any personal recommendations for great book editing services—whether it's freelance editors, agencies, or publishers that include editing in their packages—I’d love to hear them! I’m especially looking for:

• Developmental and line editing
• Clear communication and honest feedback
• Reasonable turnaround time

Editors who understand both fiction and non-fiction (bonus if they’ve worked on memoirs)
