  1. Line-item discount in Invoices and Estimates

    It would be very helpful if we had the ability to add a discount per line-item in invoices and estimates, as adding a general discount in the total of the invoice doesn't produce the required result.

  2. Add setting to disable ads / recommendations

    As a paying subscriber
    I should have the ability to disable advertisements
    So that I can maintain focus when doing accounting

    Acceptance:
    - there is a preference to disable advertisements
    - when setting is enabled, all advertisements are removed from the application

  3. Recurring Transactions with Variables

    It would be great if when I create recurring transactions I could define variables. I can think of uses cases for about every line and memo field etc. If I could say %current month% so the line item said "services rendered july" and create/send recurring transactions on a set date like the First or Fifteenth.. I get some bills due on the 31st and others on the 30th or 1st.. It's crazy especially around February...

  4. Ability to customize Purchase Order (PO) template or remove Approved By field

    QBO needs the ability to customize the purchase order PO template. Quickbooks online has the ability to edit templates for invoices, estimates, and sales receipts but not POs. Quickbooks desktop has had the ability to edit PO templates since the early days.

    If a PO template feature is not added the ability to remove the handwritten "Approved By" and "Date" field from a PO is needed at a minimum. These fields have no place on a digital workflow. We should never have to print out a PO, sign it, and scan it. All these fields do is confuse people

  5. Reduce the number of clicks to Print

    It currently takes 3 clicks to print, then I have to close 2 windows and then still hit save and send. Can the Print option only have 1 click?

  6. Verification Code Detection on Forward Address

    After trying to setup an auto forward rule from Gmail to my receipts@qbodocs.com I was unable to complete the setup because Gmail sends a verification code to the forward this address .

    Not being a conventional inbox it is impossible to complete this setup and therefore it is required to manually push all of these emails to QBO when it could be easily automated.

    Quickbooks should have a sort of integration or at least be able to detect these verification emails so people could complete the setup on their email clients. Such feature should be simple to integrate and will…

  8. Allow minus value in Quickbooks Timesheets

    Time is transactional, so we should be able to add a minus to a timesheet?

    We want to produce Timesheet Reports that show our clients not ONLY the time we spent on their project, but how many hours they bought up front. Timesheets deal in hours not £££

    Our clients need to see see how many hours he has left at the bottom of the report (not just how many hours we have spent on the job).

  10. Journal Uploads... for the love of god...

    Please, please enable the feature to allow QBO users to upload journals. We don't want to share our data with a 3rd party app. This functionality should be native. This is mind-blowing that this function does not exist today.

  11. I need the CUSTOMER field on Bank Register

    On Bank Register - In addition to CLASS, I need to be able to see CUSTOMER without having to open each transaction. Adding fields was easy on Desktop :( and I'm sure this must have been asked many times. WOULD REALLY HELP :) :) :)

  12. We need a log of our email comments sent with an invoice/estimate.

    I sometimes need to know what I wrote in the email accompanying my invoice/estimate. Currently the only way to know is to copy myself in Bcc: and then I get the same email they do. Seems like there should be a better way to see that correspondence.

  13. Resolve the "Sign me out if inactive" feature

    I see from the forum that this is a long standing recurring issue. I am busy working, actively typing, nowhere near inactive, and the system logs out in the middle of whatever I'm doing, without warning and there is no autosave feature. This should be a relatively simple fix. I am not familiar with any web-based app/site that doesn't at least give you a warning; the bank, credit card company, SalesForce, Oracle....

  14. advanced search

    Include "Class" and account types in Advanced Search QBO
    It is critical to be able to search ALL our transactions in QBO - to do this efficiently we need to be able to filter for "Class" in the Advanced Search function. Also, search by account type or just account is not available. These (and many more filters) were available for a long time in QB Desktop. Since this is simply searching existing data, why is "Class" not searchable?? Please add "Class" as a filter in Advanced Search within QBO.

  16. Auto-forward Gmail emails to QBOdocs email

    Currently, an auto-forward filter (to send receipts to QBO docs email) in Gmail is being prevented by QBO, because it doesn't allow us to check a verification code to finish the setup.

    Therefore, a Gmail user cannot auto-forward his receipt emails to the QBO docs folder.

  17. Expand Custom Fields Options and Sort DropDown Lists

    We leverage custom fields a lot. There already exists an option for a dropdown list but this list is just field after field and isn't even sorted alphabetically so when it gets long it's hard to manage in the admin and when it gets long the dropdown option on invoices etc isn't sorted which makes no sense. Ideally the fields stay sorted or have the option to sort in both areas and ideally there is an easier way to bulk add the list via CSV or just a box that's separated by line item. Or maybe feed off another list…

  19. gmail confirmation code

    There needs to be a method to retrieve the Google Activation code to setup automatic forwarding of bills and receipts. This apparently has been mentioned numerous times and is a key feature in many small business workflows.

  20. To add line item 'Number' to estimates, PO, Invoice

    I would like to have the line "item number" (sample as attached) in the printout/ form template of estimates, PO, invoices.

    This is critical when involve multiple pages, and to reduce mistakes of reentry & review.
