Recurring Transactions with Variables
It would be great if when I create recurring transactions I could define variables. I can think of uses cases for about every line and memo field etc. If I could say %current month% so the line item said "services rendered july" and create/send recurring transactions on a set date like the First or Fifteenth.. I get some bills due on the 31st and others on the 30th or 1st.. It's crazy especially around February...

Recurring transactions with variables allow payments to adjust automatically based on changing costs, usage, or subscription levels. This flexibility helps users manage budgets more efficiently and keeps financial tracking clear and predictable. The concept is similar to exploring a local Amazon bins clearance center, where each visit offers different deals and prices depending on stock availability. Just as shoppers adapt to varying bin finds, variable recurring transactions help individuals and businesses stay responsive to fluctuating needs. This ensures smoother financial planning and greater control over ongoing expenses. https://localbinstorenearme.com/bin-stores-in-wyoming/

This is critical - such a pain to update recurring invoices every month and such a simple task to deliver from a development perspective. Kashflow has this feature and has done for over 6 years!

The rest of the world is using AI and Quickbooks doesn't even know the current month.

We absolutely need you to add variables on invoices in QuickBooks Online. This feature has been needed and requested for years.

Every other service has this. Even the free ones. It is not technically difficult come on Quickbooks. I cannot use you to manage recurring invoices which is a waste of money as now running 2 systems. I just read 3 pages of support requests on your support hub dating back to 2019. Listen to your customers this is pretty basic functionality.

This is insane that this isn't available yet.

This option is very critical to our landscape business. We usually send invoices for services already completed. Before I used to manually create every invoice and I would add the month in the line description. However, after setting up re-occuring invoices I realized it missed the month being added which defeats the purpose and causes . This issue would be solved if there was an option for variables to be added. For example, if it's March and I want to bill for February Services, I should be able to add something to the extent of "Monthly Maintenance %Service Month%. Seems like a basic feature and I'm surprised with the business that use this service that this wouldn't be an option for as much as Quickbooks charges.

Very surprised QB does not have this basic feature...and from what I can see searching, QB users have been continually asking for this for many years now.

I agree this is something that is important. It would save a great deal of time and seems very straightforward.

I've been asking for this for 10 years. If this is important to you consider Xero, Zoho, Wave Account and Freshbooks who all support this feature.
Quickbooks Devs - a simple token like Roel suggests is what we need

It's really hard to understand why this is not already built in. People have been asking for it for years. One of the big reasons I jumped from Xero years ago to QBO was because Xero doesn't listen to customer requests. Now I see this same behaviour in QBO. Really disappointing that this has been asked requested years and years ago with no movement at all from QBO.
