what dev in their right mind would make adding a tip and interaction with the provider. This is actually the dumbest dev thing i have ever seen. Do these people not live in the real world?

Why would you add a tip feature and not make it complete. Square does this. Guess I will have to shift?

Plugins all over the place let you add tips/gratuity and also add comments too. I am having my clients ask me for this feature on my email invoices because they want to leave a tip and a comment. Heya Quickbooks – do you hear us ?

On another note QB Community – let's talk about other software we can use that has these features. This is getting old. These comments began in 2017. Not even a real response.

Quickbooks allows tipping when accepting payment in person if selecting “new sale”...but then we have to go behind the scenes and apply that payment to an invoice, create separate transactions for tipping, etc. Such a pain!

Why is there no option to tip in invoicing and taking customer payments just like there is when paying for a new sale? Yes, we can change the amount being paid...but then it goes in as a credit on the customer’s account.

Come on, Intuit...you’re better than this...

Need to have the tip option in the invoice, this is the only reason I continue to use Square, but will be ideal id QB Online have that future, i needed HELP QB...

Similar - I'd like to be able to change the amount, to increase it If I overlook a bill from a person and pay them quite late, I like to add a small amount for having kept what should already be their money.

Tipping on the form

All service businesses deserve a 15-20% gratuity. You would probably be getting this more often if there was a place for your clients to post it.

You used to have a place for adding tips. I wanted to to you paula. You always do so well with my kids.
I'll try to remember to leave you cash.

There should be away to post a tip for great service.
