paypal and authentication
I don't like to share my account information online if it can be avoided. QuickBooks should be more sensitive to that than most, since you handle a lot of online financial transactions! I hate the idea of entering my check account information and not having it authenticated—anyone I've ever paid with a check could just go spend my money! I also don't like having to take the time to go find my checkbook every time I want to pay something. Almost everyone else lets me use PayPal, which is much more secure and much more convenient. I don't know why…

You can't! But you could take our cc info over the phone. My card has been compromised using systems like this one.
Call our shop.... get paid. Easy!

Make the receipt SHOW everything!
This is idiotic - when it says download the receipt, some of the information is missing. See file. An organization like Intuit should do MUCH better than this.

Option to change payment amount
I needed to change the amount I was paying on the invoice. I had a credit balance as QuickBooks had paid double on a previous invoice, but did not have the option to pay my contractor the adjusted amount, she had to issue me a separate invoice.

Store CC securely and get customer permission so merchant can charge it automatically for future purchases
Based on merchant's preferences, allow a customer to store their credit card # during payment of invoice, and get customer's approval for merchant to charge it for future purchases. It's not the same as auto-payment, or scheduled payment, it's on-demand payment for a customer to a certain merchant.

Bad user experience: Don't require fields on non-selected tabs.
When I click through from the email to the payment, it's defaulted to the debit card sub-tab. I filled out my info, realized it was for debit, and erased everything before clicking over to the credit tab and filling it out again. When I clicked the PAY button, nothing happened. No error message, no notice to the user. I tried a few more times, before checking the debit tab, which was citing "name" as a required field, even though that form wasn't being used.

Inconsistency creates lack of trust or doubts
If the Quickbooks provides a colored message with a check on top, confirming that the payment went through, providing info of type of payment used and authorization ID, how come when a pdf to be downloaded is requested the payment method comes out blank, and the authorization ID shows undefined? this does not look good, as the only thing being requested is for the confirmation be transferred to PDF, no change is requested.... Was the initial confirmation a Fake one?? How should I know??

Lose the Convenience Fee charge!
The Convenience Fee added charge is ****! For whose convenience? The charge says to help the merchant recover costs. What about us consumers? Have you heard of COVID? Pandemic relier? Economic stimulus? Haven’t we been beat down hard enough? Slap us people with yet another add-on. Lose the charge! I’m sure Intuit makes/had made plenty off the public for years to reward their top brass. We lose. They win. Put that up your convenience portals. Unfair.

invoice and/or receipts
I was thinking instead of offering the download of invoices/receipts, EMAIL the paid invoice/receipts.
