I prefer a document that I can save electronically and print.
The idea has already been posted, couldn't figure out how to select it. I just want an electronic version with the same information that I can see when I go to print.

Send out an invoice the day the services are performed instead of weeks later.

Put the links to pay and open invoice at the top. Rest of message below. Its the same every month.
I waste time searching for the pay link - I open the invoice - not there, I plow thru the same message - oh and there it is off the screen at the bottom. Put the pay link top right of the email

Better receipts
The "Print Receipt" button just prints this very basic "stripped out" version of a receipt - no vendor, no context. It would never pass IRS muster. Fix this ASAP!

please take down the option on your website that gives the illusion you can pay from there. It is too confusing and time consuming to be up

Notify Payer of Returned/Failed Payment.
If a payment is rejected for any reason, the payer should be notified that it happened AND have the ability to see if an account number was entered wrong and the reason for rejection of payment. Just got off the phone with customer service- as a payer, they can’t pull up my transaction history (even with the transaction ID and invoice number) without the payee (the person providing the service) involved due to security reasons.

pay attention to previous complaints
i see numerous complaints about saving payment information. what's the point of using technology if it doesn't make the transaction seamless. I would rather go back to snail mail then have to enter my bank information for every transaction.

Memo line on the invoice
Make room for a memo line or 2 for a written note about the payment for the month. A little more than just an invoice number.
