Backyard patio design ideas
Show me your backyard patio!
Are you matchy matchy in terms of furniture?
Do you aim for an extended living room look?
Do you have wooden furniture or iron going?
I have a hodge podge look going bc I keep collecting free Patio furniture
But now that I added a covered patio, I’M looking to outfit it better.
My biggest issue is that when I entertain, I have to accommodate at minimum 40 family members so my fear is that my backyard looks like a banquet facility.
Would love to see your patios!

Hey there! I love talking about backyard patio designs, and it's great to see you’re looking to outfit yours better. I totally get the struggle of finding the right balance between style and functionality, especially when you have to accommodate a large number of guests.
For my patio, I’ve gone for a cohesive yet flexible design. I’ve mixed wooden furniture with some iron pieces to create a rustic but elegant feel. The key for me was finding pieces that can easily be rearranged or added to when needed. I also added some outdoor rugs and cushions to tie everything together, making the space feel like an extension of my living room.
If you’re looking to outfit your new covered patio, you might want to check out Domi Outdoor Living. They have some amazing options that can help you achieve a stylish yet practical setup. Plus, you can use a Domi Outdoor Living coupon code to get some great deals and save money while upgrading your patio.
One tip I found helpful is to use modular furniture that can be easily reconfigured depending on the number of guests. This way, your backyard won’t look like a banquet facility all the time, but you’ll still be prepared for those big family gatherings. Adding some potted plants and outdoor lighting can also make the space feel cozier and more inviting.
Would love to see your patio once it’s done! Happy decorating!

Regarding furniture, I think it's great to have a mix of different styles and materials, as you mentioned, with your hodgepodge look.
