12. Only One Map Dropped Me 200 Chaos Orbs

    Last night, I ran a single map in Path of Exile 2 and ended up with over 200 Chaos Orbs—yes, just from one map. It was easily one of the luckiest and most profitable runs I’ve ever had in the game. Let me walk you through exactly what I did, how you can try the same method, and why this experience reminded me how valuable smart planning is when farming PoE 2 currency.

    First, the map I ran was a T16 Crimson Temple with some juiced-up modifiers. I used Sextants, a Polished Scarab of Divination, and a Delirium Orb. The scarab helped increase the number of divination cards dropping, and the Delirium added a fog that gave bonus loot as I killed monsters. This combo is perfect for currency farming.

    But the real MVP here was a lucky streak with The Hoarder and The Saint’s Treasure card drops. These divination cards can reward you with multiple Exalted Orbs and Chaos Orbs when turned in. On top of that, I had a high Item Quantity bonus thanks to map mods, so monsters were dropping more loot overall.

    One important tip: always bring a fast-clearing build when running juiced maps. I used a Tornado Shot Deadeye with maxed projectiles and movement speed. You want to be able to kill fast and keep moving so you can survive the chaos and still pick up all that sweet PoE 2 currency.

    Now let’s talk about storage and trading. After the map, my stash was overflowing with Chaos Orbs, some Divine Orbs, and even a couple of Awakened Sextants. If you plan to convert or trade this currency, make sure to price-check your stash using community tools or the in-game trade site.
