Fix error "Error. You can try again, or come back later and try connecting then"
Kept getting "Error. You can try again, or come back later and try connecting then," with no explanation of what the error was. Kept trying multiple times over multiple days, still received same error. Finally tried a different credit card and it worked. Still unsure the root cause. Need to update error message to provide explanation, e.g. "American Express not accepted by this vendor." or "Card declined." or "Unable to process this credit card, please try a different card or contact your bank." etc.

Please update your UI to give some kind of clue as to what this error is... is it an API error? CC declined? I have no idea based on the error message

Looks like it is a problem with their API.

Would be great if they could get a fix implemented. This is a major headache

This error just happened to us. The client tried from their laptop and their phone and received the same error. I tried from my computer with their credit card info, and same thing. I also tried my phone. But then I sent myself an invoice and it worked just fine, and another customer just paid their invoice. This error message is unacceptable. QuickBooks needs to do better with the error message telling you what is wrong.

Agreed - when running customer payments it very important to know what the actual is!! Do I call my customer for new card information or restart my internet?? How am I supposed to know??

Why has this not be fixed or at minimum have a clear understanding of what is wrong?
This is happening to my client who is trying to pay a past due bill.
I finally got him to pay AND THE SYSTEM IS STOPPING HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please respond and tell me what is being done.

I have tried and tried yo use this system to pay a bill. The agency who is supposed to get the payment is zero help. There is nothing in the internet that helps. What is the use of using your system if I can't make it work????? An get a ERROR that doesnt tell me what the problem is.

Agree - this was very confusing. It was definitely a card decline error from my credit card and worked perfectly after I resolved the issue... should really say what the problem is exactly.

Yes! Message is not clear. VERY MISLEADING. My problem was that I did not have enough available funds to process the transaction. But - when error message says come back later & try again, it seems as if there is a connectivity issue, not the real problem of not enough funds available. Finally figured this out after multiple attempts, including trying different browsers & different devices.

This only happens if I log in. Paying without logging in works fine. This needs to be resolved, its really a pain.
