It was a bit confusing with the payment choices - like maybe we could pay the solar with credit cards for reward points.
maybe add a reminder to check the original terms and conditions agreement signed prior to work.

Why doesn't my payment method save? Why can't I add a debit/credit card?
Super annoying to have to put in my account and routing number each time, extremely inefficient

You could add a credit card option, I prefer not to put my direct banking information on line. Thanks.

Use bank payment method as used for most other payments to vendors.
I pay most of my bills by setting up the vendor in my online bank account. I routinely review for open invoices and send the payments electronically. It doesn't cost me anything and can occur as quick as same-day sometimes.
This also prevents personal data from getting out there in yet another arena to possibly get stolen.1 vote -
Being able to pay invoices online is perfect for our lifestyle.
No idea, just happy that this is so convenient.

Prompt for routing number and account number
When I copy and paste the account details - it is not clear why you disallow paste on the confirmation and make me type it in manually -
( you probably think it is a secondary validation - but not in the case where I copy and paste valid details in the first place - I think manual retype is a frustrating and error prone waste of time )1 vote -
paypal and authentication
I don't like to share my account information online if it can be avoided. QuickBooks should be more sensitive to that than most, since you handle a lot of online financial transactions! I hate the idea of entering my check account information and not having it authenticated—anyone I've ever paid with a check could just go spend my money! I also don't like having to take the time to go find my checkbook every time I want to pay something. Almost everyone else lets me use PayPal, which is much more secure and much more convenient. I don't know why…

You can't! But you could take our cc info over the phone. My card has been compromised using systems like this one.
Call our shop.... get paid. Easy!

Store CC securely and get customer permission so merchant can charge it automatically for future purchases
Based on merchant's preferences, allow a customer to store their credit card # during payment of invoice, and get customer's approval for merchant to charge it for future purchases. It's not the same as auto-payment, or scheduled payment, it's on-demand payment for a customer to a certain merchant.

Allow Paypal, Venmo and some of those types of forms of payment.
Everything was great and straightforward. My only suggestion is to allow Paypal, Venmo and some of those types of forms of payment.

Ask about "save this payment" AFTER payment, on receipt page.
If you ask about creating account after instead of before (or perhaps during: with a checkbox for "save payment method") you'll likely get more takers. We're all used to "save this payment method" and the likely "create an account" that will happen LATER. But a link ... that implies you're taking me to a new page and I'll likely have to start over.

Allow recurring autopay from debit card
I would like to have a way to auto pay without incurring the ACH fees from my debit card. My concern is that I may be on travel and not have access to email when he invoice is sent out and miss a payment.
