An error occurred while saving the comment Frank Norton commentedThe fact that one cannot override the default on Based On Location sales tax is insane. This is a big issue here too, and we are just a small non-profit.
Another example of the many, many ways that QBO is so inferior a product than QBDesktop. I wish we had never switched. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Frank Norton commentedI want notification when software updates are thrust upon us, and the opportunity to roll back the more stupid changes these updates so often force upon us.
For instance, the "Based on location" sales tax default. Or renaming Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss in Reports. Or remaning our Invoices are Pledges, whatever that is suppose to mean.
And absolutely every time there is an update, our customized forms are altered. Please, please stop that! -

An error occurred while saving the comment Frank Norton commentedQBO just had another blind "update". I say blind because these are always sprung on users without warning or input. And, as always, no rollback to the previous version is available.
This one has re-named several commonly used Reports and relabeled our Invoices as "Pledges", whatever that is supposed to mean. I've not yet found the rest of the garbage the so-called engineers have stuck us with.
Are these so-called updates ever reviewed or beta tested by any actual users. Are they ever reviewed by an in-house person with any familiarity with accounting?
Can a user ever undo the more thoughtless changes foisted upon us, like "Based on location" sales tax calculations?
I could go on, but that's enough for now. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Frank Norton commentedSmart engineers are easy. QBO engineers haven't much understanding of their customers business/accounting/bookkeeping needs.
It's a really bad disconnect.
Agreed!
