This option is implemented for invoices, where you can send the invoice from your Gmail account, but it does not work for estimates. I have a couple of users that use the QuickBooks system, but when someone sends an estimate, it is hard for them to keep track of it because it goes to the company email if the client responds--not to the email of the user who sent that email. It is tedious/annoying because we have to forward the replies to ourselves.
