Quickbooks appears to have limitations when it comes to exporting a full set of GL/data, especially for large transactions. I had specifically asked about this issue prior to migrating from MYOB to Quickbooks, and was informed that there would be no such issue with exporting data. However, now the suggestion is to split the reports into smaller, monthly reports and filter out some data. I have concerns about the effectiveness of this approach when sending a general ledger to professional parties and asking them to combine the monthly reports into one year's worth of data. It is disappointing that I have migrated to a software that appears to have more limitations than the previous one.
