Add setting to disable ads / recommendations
As a paying subscriber
I should have the ability to disable advertisements
So that I can maintain focus when doing accounting
Acceptance:
- there is a preference to disable advertisements
- when setting is enabled, all advertisements are removed from the application

This problem is enough for me to switch software providers.

I completely agree with you on this. It is bad enough that we have to purchase a subscription to do anything anymore. But then to be subjected to a constant barrage of extra ads within the service you are already paying for reeks of desperation and complete lack of respect for my time. I shouldn't have to close the ad and signify a "no thanks" EVERY TIME I move from one page to another in my work flow. Not to mention the sheer amount of screen real estate taken up by the ads.

They will never give a preference to remove all the extra **** on the screen, but I will vote.

Make this your biggest priority intuit.

The original thread was marked as "Solved" from July, 2021, however it is not at all "Solved". Please remove the annoying ads for paying customers or offer a way to disable them.

I can't agree more with everything said on this thread. Make the ads stop. The person who is championing this action on your marketing team needs to be fired, they are incompetent.

You must remove the annoying pop-ups AT ONCE. We've had enough and you at Intuit do not have the right to continue to harvest our attention without our consent - it is the simple and outright theft of our time. There are alternatives to Qbooks and the train is filling up with deserters - it is simply a matter of time UNLESS you remove all of the annoying pop-ups. And your statement about them being "designed to suggest and guide you on how to improve your QuickBooks experience," is complete ridiculous non-sense that is quite frankly insulting to your user community. Really? Do you really think we would believe such non-sense? The overwhelming reaction to this so-called "guidance" is abject annoyance that runs deeper with each pop-up. And "clicking the 'x'" is even more insulting. Please, give us a break. This along with the annual subscription "scheme" is a bridge too far and certainly spells doom for the whole QuickBooks enterprise. It is very disappointing.

This is frustrating. Sitting in the accountant view and having disruptive ads trying to get me to hire other Bookkeepers. I love how QuickBooks is attempting to take jobs from others by advertising to companies in this manner.

As a person with ADD these constant pop ups and in page ads for X, Y, Z product or pop ups about "Useful" Tips on how to use a feature that I've been using for years really derails my workflow and causes me to get distracted. I can only close a thing so many times before I start getting angry and frustrated.
How many times must I say NO? How many times must I be told "hey let's pair your transactions" but the way your "helpful guides" want to do it are not how I want it done and it is rage inducing to have this pushed in my face every **** day, multiple times a day.
