3. PDF Receipt Opens With Missing or Incorrect Content

   I noticed an issue with a PDF document when trying to view or use it on a mobile device. The PDF does not display the content as expected, which makes it difficult to read and use the document properly.

   I have attached a sample PDF that demonstrates the issue. It would be helpful if QuickBooks could improve PDF rendering and make sure that text, images, spacing, and other document elements are displayed correctly when the file is opened or downloaded.

   A consistent PDF output would make it much easier for users to save, share, and review their documents across different devices and PDF readers.

4. QuickBooks Desktop Help

   Getting "QuickBooks Error H202" on two of our three workstations today. The host computer opens the file fine, it's just the other two machines that can't connect. Message says something about not being able to communicate with the host computer over the network.

   This is the first time we've seen this specific one. Any ideas?

5. Somehow on this webs

   Somehow on this website I get an error message stating my identity can’t be verified. When I have no issues with the Afirm app or direct website. I have a plan currently active with afirm. So this doesn’t make sense . Also have account with credit karma . Tbaker1278@gmail.com

6. Secure Card-on-File Authorization Link — WITHOUT Invoice Payment and WITHOUT Recurring Billing

   I want to be very specific because this request can easily be confused with two features QuickBooks already offers.

   I am NOT requesting:
   1. The ability for a customer to pay an invoice and choose to save their card.
   2. Automatic recurring payments or recurring invoices with a predetermined amount or frequency.
   Neither of those solves our problem.

   We are a service business, and our customers may receive service weekly, biweekly, every 3–4 weeks, monthly, or on a changing schedule. A customer may skip one or several services because they are traveling, pause service for one or two months, change frequency, add additional services, or have a different amount due on a particular visit.

   Therefore, we do not want QuickBooks to automatically charge a fixed amount on a fixed recurring schedule.

   What we need is a simple Secure Card-on-File Authorization Link:
   1. From the customer's QuickBooks profile, we click something like “Request Payment Method / Send Card Authorization.”
   2. QuickBooks sends the customer a secure link.
   3. The customer enters their own credit card information directly into QuickBooks/Intuit. Our employees NEVER see, receive, write down, email, text, or manually enter the customer's full card number.
   4. The customer digitally signs/accepts an authorization allowing our business to securely keep that payment method on file and charge it for future services according to our agreement.
   5. QuickBooks securely tokenizes/stores the payment method. Our staff should only see something such as Visa ending in 1234.
   6. When we actually perform a service, WE initiate the charge through QuickBooks Payments using the authorized card on file.

   The date, amount, and frequency do NOT need to be predetermined.
   For example, a customer could be charged $180 this week, skip the next scheduled service, receive another cleaning three weeks later for $210, pause service for two months while traveling, and then resume service afterward. We simply need the customer's authorized payment method to remain securely on file so we can charge for services when they actually occur.

   This is NOT recurring billing. It is NOT AutoPay. It is NOT a recurring invoice. It is NOT “pay an invoice and save my card.”

   It is customer-authorized, secure card-on-file storage with merchant-initiated charges when future services are performed.

   Other service-business platforms, such as ZenMaid, already make this extremely simple. We send the customer a secure credit card authorization form; the customer enters and authorizes their payment method themselves; the business never sees the full card information; and the authorized payment method can then be used for future charges.

   QuickBooks already provides Payments, estimates, invoices, customer profiles, stored payment methods, and payment processing. We would strongly prefer to keep this entire process inside QuickBooks rather than use a separate platform simply to securely collect a customer's payment authorization.

   A feature as simple as “Send Secure Card Authorization Link” or “Request Payment Method” inside the customer profile would solve this.

   Again, please do not interpret this request as recurring payments or saving a card after an invoice is paid. We specifically need a secure way for the CUSTOMER to provide and authorize a card on file WITHOUT making a payment at that moment and WITHOUT establishing a fixed recurring billing schedule.

8. QuickBooks Error Code PS038

   Hi everyone,
   I am getting QuickBooks Error Code PS038 while trying to update payroll in QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks says that I need to download the latest payroll update, but even after I update it, the same message keeps appearing.
   I have restarted the computer and checked my internet connection, but payroll still will not update. I also cannot process payroll normally because the error keeps returning.
   Does anyone know what causes QuickBooks Error Code PS038 and how to fix it without affecting existing employee paychecks?

10. QuickBooks Desktop Help

    Trying to open our shared company file from my laptop this morning and getting "QuickBooks Error H303." The weird part is it was working fine yesterday from this exact same laptop. Our host computer (my bookkeeper's desktop) seems fine, she can open the file no problem.

    Any idea what's going on? Not super technical so bear with me.

11. QuickBooks Desktop Help

    This morning nobody in the office could open our company file. On the host computer I got an error mentioning "QBCFMonitorService Not Running" or something close to that. I've genuinely never seen this message before in like 3 years of using multi-user mode here.

    Anyone know what this actually is? Trying to figure out if I broke something or if this is a known thing.

12. QuickBooks Desktop Help

    We've got 6 users on our company file and starting this week, random people keep getting a "QuickBooks Server Busy" message when trying to open the file or save transactions. It's not everyone at once, just random people at random times. Sometimes it goes away if they wait a minute, sometimes it just sits there.

    Nothing changed on our setup recently that I know of. Anyone dealt with this?

13. QuickBooks Desktop Help

    Hey everyone, hoping someone can help me out here. We've got 4 people in the office all trying to access the same QuickBooks company file, and since yesterday only my computer (the one hosting the file) can open it. Everyone else gets stuck or just times out trying to connect.

    Nothing changed on our end that I know of — no new installs, no Windows updates that I'm aware of. Anyone run into this before?

14. Every single time I

    Every single time I make a payment I have to unclick "Save my info for a faster checkout". Why can't it remember I don't want to use that? I would use the faster checkout option but it never works anyway so please don't make me opt out of it every single time. Really annoying to have to opt out every time of something that never works in the first place.
