Ability to edit the amount should be highlighted a bit more
Its clear from other suggestions that people cant clearly see how to edit the payment amount. I would suggest that it be moved from top to below payment type/ area (directly above the "process payment button") with "Edit amount" Bolded and contrasted to other text on screen.

The invoice did not appear until AFTER I paid the bill. It should be view-able BEFORE I pay the bill
Make the invoice view-able before the bill is paid, not AFTER the bill has been paid.

Payment using bank transfer will not go through
I have paid Intuit invoices from Caregivers of the Lehigh Valley in the past using the bank transfer method with no problems. But when I try to pay invoices to Bluespring Agency using the bank transfer method they will not go through. This is an ongoing problem. I have two bank accounts to pay invoices with but neither one will go through for Bluespring Agency. This is a royal pain in the a$$. You can start by sending out invoices on time! Why am I being charge a late fee.
It seems as if QuickBooks is charging customers a late fee. Be that as it may, if a customer is late, they never send invoices on time. I'm going to seek legal action against QuickBooks.

Improve security of payment emails with some form of vendor authentication
I've recently had to pay two large invoices by clicking a link sent from the contractor for the project that they're doing for me. It is a HORRIBLE security practice to allow ANY vendor to request and receive payments this way. The only "authentication" I could perform on the payment email was to check that the amount requested was exactly what I expected. But if a hacker had previously intercepted any communications between me and the vendor, they could have generated a spoofing email with a look-alike button for that exact amount. The email contains all the information about the bill but there is not a link to pay within the email.This may make it easier and not hard.

I do not use app. email invoice and use my Laptop to Pay. NO AUTOPAY OPTION. I hate having to do the exact same thing every 2 weeks. YUCK!
I do not use the APP. I'm emailed the invoice. I click on it to pay. And I have never found a way to set up an automatic payment option. So, every 2 weeks I have to waste my time doing the exact same thing, definitely very annoying and minor time consuming.

Adding tips to payments -- dollars versus percent
When making a payment, I was presented with options for 5%, 10%, 15% or other. I wanted to make a 20% tip so that's what I typed in the Other box. I was surprised when it converted the 20 to $20. The UI should be clearer that I'm choosing a dollar amount rather than a percentage.

Payment options to always have credit card
Critical to always have a credit card option. Bank account numbers have been getting stolen and offer no consumer protection unlike cards which have zero liability. If the merchant wants to charge a fee, make it such that the cost of all payments is equal for the merchant. So if you charge 0.75% for ACH and 2.75% for cards, have a fee of 2% on card payments.
